unite4real: I just contacted a staff of Afrinvest and he said I have to open an account with Afrinvest first, then a cscs account. He also sent me the SUKUK form through WhatsApp and the Afrinvest form. He said the cscs no will take 48 hrs to be ready. Must I submit the SUKUK form to him. I mean how do they benefit from this. Are there questions I should ask them. Thanks pls 1 Like |

Risingcash94: Their benefit is that someday, you will do business with them. As an investor, your appetite changes from time to time and when u do need to buy stocks or deal on the secondary market, they already have you and you already have them. So they earn commission. 5 Likes |

Hello chief emmesoft, if I open my cscs with investment one can I still proceed to apply for the sukuk bond through stanbic bank? |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmasoft(m): 1:49pm On May 27, 2020 |
Akerewe:CSCS means Central securities clearing system. It's d depository body that houses all investors shares electronically. They issue cscs account and CHN through capital market operators licensed to trade on the NSE. You can pass through any of the licensed operators to get it of which IBTC and Investment One are examples of operators. However, the process of opening cscs differ from operator to operator especially in the aspect of initial cash deposit 7 Likes 1 Share |

Akerewe: Don't fret and do not let any bank frustrate your plan to invest in the Sukuk bond. The bond prospectus states #10,000 minimum and in multiples of #1000 thereafter. Follow these steps: 1. Google FCSL Aset Mgt.Coy Ltd 2. Pay amt. You wish to invest into FCSL Asset Mgt. Co. Ltd. a/c with Zenith Bank. Acct. No.-1011713073 3. There are names and phone numbers of some officials on their website, call any of the numbers and inform him you paid for Sukuk investment into their account. 4. Upload a scan copy of your filled form to them. 5. Shikena. Why did I even give out all these information self? The bond will be oversubscribed and I may end up not getting as you might have taken my slot. (Laughs). 6 Likes 2 Shares |
