How did you buy the shares? through a broker? ie secondary market? If yes, do you still remember the investment house or contact of staff? if yes call them and ask them to send your cscs statement. You will get all the information on the statement otherwise
and second option if answers to the questions are NO and if you reside in Lagos you need to go to cscs office at the NSE build with valid acceptable ID card tell them you want to have your bio-metric done and at the same time print your cscs statement
Third option and if not in Lagos click on the link on my signature to open another cscs account with investment one.
You can also call or chat me. My number is on the signature as well.

How long will it take if I choose to open with your investment firm?

10 Institutional Investors can pay for the N150 billion needed for the Sukuk bond

You will need minimum of N100 million to personally buy FG bonds on the secondary market of FMDQ

Good evening. For those investing in mutual funds(mmf) with first bank. Does the money still remain in your account after investing and still reflect in your balance in your bank statement? Or it disappears completely like tbills and returns to your account upon completion/maturity? Please I need clarification

You are investing with FBNquest, a subsidiary of FBN. The money goes to FBNQUEST from your bank account irrespective of the bank you operate with

I think there's a bit ambiguity on this cscs issue. Pls kindly clarify. Do I need a cscs number to apply for sukuk? Or I don't. Answers ll be appreciated.

Diversify.

1. U already have bond. Good
2. Premium stocks. Dangote, Zenith, MTN, GTB
3. Money Market Fund.
4. Eurobond Fund
5. Look out for Distress sales in real estate

Nakedman please don't leave your money naked in savings account

Forgot to ask you man, is it possible to use Naira to buy Eurobonds via stockbrokers? or any stockbroker you know? Thank you for your response in advance...

1982 to 2020 is 38 years, what is our life span. Kids don't build houses. 38 + age as at when house was built, the builder might have died. I keep saying, building is for next generation and not investment for the living. You didn't include cost of maintenance and tenant court cases.
In all, to be a good parent, leave something for your kids but definitely not as an investment for you on your mind. I also begged earlier for you to also quote failed shares.

I share in your ideas, imagine building an estate at the age of 60yrs, you ain't going to reap half the cost, still for the children.

Investing is shares is good but with a good capital especially on blue chip companies like nestle

I am inviting fairfora, Fid4fid
Truthdefender ,dasuks and sultaan to this great thread.
They are seasoned business men.

Sirs, you might go through a few of the last pages. I am sure you will find people here interesting. I adjudge this thread a respository of good brains on Nairaland.

A round of applause for them.

LET ME NOW encourage others to invite pundits they know here. I am sure they will appreciate the thread and also contribute.

cc adaorank

Thanks for the invitation. Have been going through the pages since the invitation and I must confess the thread is 95% devoid of scammers and will comment once I'm ready.

Please we should look inward to what we see today as 'kobo kobo' business/investment. It may have an exponential growth with the position of Nigeria market presently.

If people, like Jim Ovia, Tony Elumelu, Peterside, Rewane and a host of other big moguls could make it this big when the started with small market, imagine where we will be by 2025 - 2030 if we take advantage of opportunities.

Not so.

You pay N2500 per annum if you subscribe to CSCS online

What are the benefits of this subscription. ₦2500 p.a doesn't look like it's hurt ones bottom line

If all requirements are fulfilled, starting from the day you do your biometric at cscs and every other documents get to the new investment house max is one month all things being equal.

If you are not a regular stock Investor who needs to track his Investments, know the transaction history of his Investments, have a valuation of your holdings at any given time, need to know the top gainers and losers per day, value of daily transactions etc you may not need to subscribe to CSCS online

There is nothing like getting fully prepared here. This thing no be war o. Lol

I have been down this road 2017 and 2018. This is the third issue.

If u must know, 90% of bank workers don't have this knowledge that many are dishing out here. If the bankers have such knowledge, there won't be need for such a forum. It would have been as straight forward as opening a savings account. This is investment we are talking about. A lot of guys here have gotten knowledge from experience and I think it is worthwhile to follow their footsteps. I have learnt a lot here and whenever I walk into a banking hall, I relate with them like a pro.
The first time I walked into the bank to buy TBills, they didn't know what I was saying and we're telling me to do fixed deposit
Please do you have the Sukuk account number of stanbic ?

How do you check your cscs a/c from time to time to be sure what you deposited there is safe? If you don't pay your annual subscription, will you be able to access your a/c with them?

You can ask your broker to send your statement to you

But you will miss other benefits of CSCS online, from your transaction history you can know how much you paid for a stock 10 years ago, date of the purchase, quantity bought etc

yes, that is why i said under normal condition - That is, if you give a business savy/inclined person the money, he will use it well.

Check this -

*SHINA PETERS VS JIM OVIA*

In 1990, Shina Peters built a house with N20 million naira; the same year Jim Ovia started Zenith Bank with the same amount.

Today, you and I don't have a room in Shina's house but I have an account in Jim's bank and probably you do too.

Shina's house was built in Iju Lagos and remains there till date.
Jim's bank started in a corner and now has over 500 branches in Nigeria, and many international branches.

Millions upon millions transact business in Jim's bank daily.
Shina's house is becoming dilapidated...in 2015, he SPENT more money to renovate the house and bought a Nissan Pathfinder with N10 million...additional liability, while in the same 2015, Jim's bank MADE a profit of N105.7 billion.

Zenith bank employs hundreds of thousands, and feeds their families

https://www.facebook.com/172843013174155/posts/shina-peters-vs-jim-oviain-1990-shina-peters-built-a-house-with-n20-million-nair/461049824353471/

I have seen this story several times, and each time i read it, even though i get the message, it tickles my sense of mischief.

What if Shina Peters had/has his own business conglomerate as at 1990 and 2015? Surely, someone who built a house with 20million in 1990 is no small person

In the end, we choose what we wish to compare and believe in
