TripleOh7: Even if it was by force, it shows the blacks had zero planning - they could not build an armed forces - and the fact that every single black african country was colonized and no black african country e.g. morocco was able to colonize italy shows blacks were docile! Its time to stop giving excuses. |

dulux07: Not all whites are intelligent as you think. There are some of them that took a long time to develop. Yet they are not treated differently. What of the innocent black Americans who are citizens of the country? Are they not also affected by racism? They have achieved alot in America. From sports to academics ,they have shown their worth. Yet they are being treated differently. What did they do? Did they borrow anything from the whites? Or should we look at the killings in South Africa at that time. When they were just shooting children the way they like . Did those children do anything to them? Please don't cover stupidity. They just hate blacks and that was why they called them black Monkeys immediately the met them. They hate the color okay. All you have to do is to bleach and then you will see the automatic difference I'm not saying you should bleach ohh |

Re: The Root Causes Of Racism by Nobody: 1:41pm On May 29, 2020 |
BigBashiru: Lol. You are trying really hard to prove my first post right. Read my first post again and see you thinking that the white man is superior and justified in his actions even when they are detrimental to you. Invading other people's homeland belongs in the 10th century. Even the history of black people that you think you know, trust me, you don't know. The history that had been popularised by the whites is written to deceive. Ask yourself this question, why does the god of lightning, thunder and fire in Yorubaland hold a hammer called Oṣée ṣàngó and the Norse god of lightning Thor, also hold a hammer. Coincidence? No. If I were to ask you which one influenced the other, I wonder what your answer might be. |

TripleOh7:what will you say about other countries that were colonized by British like the Indians, do you hear them blaming Britain as Africans do. the British were the world powers at that time, they had so much power to do what they did. we on the other were poor and powerless. power at that time was about colonizing people and their lands. the ottomans did the same. any powerful country could have done what they did. the US is doing the same thing. if Africans were powerful and rich they could have done the same. it is all about power. after independence, we should have moved on and empowered ourselves, instead, civil war came, oil looting, tribalism, and corruption. did the white ask us to do this to ourselves, no! we choose this path and here we are. instead of us to take action and start developing ourselves, we keep blaming everything except ourselves. the world is moving and if Africans don't take the bull by the horn, racism in the future will be worse than this. |

Re: The Root Causes Of Racism by BigBashiru: 2:00pm On May 29, 2020 |
nowpresence: Thank you very much - Canada was colonized by Britain, today they are a G-8 country (Great - actually the British drove out the aborigins from their native land - Canada did not continue to blame Britain, today they are a great country. United States was colonized by Britain, today its a fairly great country. China and India too were colonized - today they are great countries. In all of Africa that was colonized, not one single developed country! Good question you asked about after independence - all the things Nigerians are doing after independence to themselves like looting is not as a result of colonialism. We have been hearing stories of racism in the United States recently and China was recently maltreating Africans - lots of Indian and Chinese business owners maltreat Nigerians here in Nigeria - even Trump openly disrespects Africans. The question is can the black man ever develop their lands independently - is there hope? 1 Like |

BigBashiru: 1) colonization is colonization weather it is a card or not. 2) ah ah .rail way transportation is not very common here. So if we don't know how to lay the tracks, someone would teach us na. What of our roads? Are we not constructing it by ourselves now? Did we know how to do that before? You are just looking for faults. Even some white countries still need help with some things |

Re: The Root Causes Of Racism by Muna4real(f): 2:23pm On May 29, 2020 |
BigBashiru: 1) there is no country that does not borrow 2) there is no country that does not receive aid You might be right about the third and fourth point but remember that the whites are far more in population than the whites. 4) there are so many blacks who have made so many inventions. You have to study about that. |

Re: The Root Causes Of Racism by dulux07(m): 2:49pm On May 29, 2020 |
Muna4real:IF blacks were hated that much, would they have been given room to achieve those things, and even voted to become the president of the most powerful country in the world. The black man abandons its origin, and wants to associate more with the white than his own black people. how many african-americans play a role in the development of Africa. In any territorial power battle life are always lost including children, even in the bible. Besides, are those involved in xenophobic attacks of recent whites? Even SA is arguably what it is today because of the presence of whites. Like i mentioned earlier the whites are cunning, good at taking advantages and exploiting, there is still a significant % of whites who hate blacks, and will continue till world ends, so i am not defending them in anyway. My point is, the black man plays a major role to the disrespect he suffers today. |

Re: The Root Causes Of Racism by nowpresence(f): 4:25pm On May 29, 2020 |
BigBashiru: Yes, we can but its a long shot First, we have to ripped off all the lies we used to tell ourselves like we used to be great, white people are our problem, that the system was designed for Africans to be poor. All the blame game needs to stop. Acceptance of the truth is paramount no matter how bitter it is. Depending on how painful the truth is, we can start demanding from our government. This is not a case of mobilizing youth, at that point, nobody will beg nobody to go out to protest. The pain must be strong enough to want better. Electricity and security are major factors in every country who wants to be taken seriously. we must act now, now that we still have free money to throw around #oilmoney. For infrastructure, of course, expatriate can be called in since we don't have the technical know-how. self-importance is a major factor, people treat you the way you treat yourself. Some Nigerian men abroad always boast of how white women are falling for them because of their diiik and how fresh their skin is and how they will never want anything to do with a black woman. All they are to those white women are sex objects noting more. This is part of the problem, black against black nobody says about. Building a stable middle-class society especially in this era of the internet. All this can boost the image of a black man. |

Re: The Root Causes Of Racism by Nobody: 6:52pm On May 29, 2020 |
nowpresence: This isn't a blame game. It's just how it is. Don't you see that the influence of their mental slavery lives on in every African born? See the way we treat the whites versus the way they treat us. Go on YouTube and search for "the doll test", maybe you'll understand this a lil bit more How do you move on when everything is rigged against you? Are you aware that the world economy is slanted in favour of the West. Read the book "The Economic Hitman", maybe you'll understand better. African leaders who try to forge a separate path for their people are murdered. What do you think the CIA is for? Ask late Thomas Sankara, and the late Libyan President Ghaddafi. Are you aware that France is still a colonial master that has all of its African colony still intact under them? Ask Cameroon, Chad, Niger Benin, Togo etc. There's a lot at stake here. They have taken it upon themselves to tell us our own history. They have a hand in every single one of our pie. Every American embassy in Africa is a spy station for that country. I am not absolving African heads of State from complicity. They leverage on the greed of our leaders who think they don't have a choice unless they want to be eliminated. That's why as big as Nigeria is, our presidents still run to the US for validation. And when they aren't running to the US for validation, their own president is coming here like a visiting royalty whom we now and scrape to. You talk of India. India was never enslaved by the West. Correct me if I'm wrong. Slavery does things to your psyche that no other life experience will do. How do you come back from that? How? Do you know the significance of having black skin to the whites? |
