stevmatt15: For some reasons, I found your comment touching. But trust me, you could still be broke even after having 20m in your account. You'd be surprised it won't even be any of the things you mentioned. It takes a single bad decision for everything to start spiraling down. But that's not your portion! 13 Likes 1 Share |

The inclusion of asamoah gyan on this list is an unpardonable error, the money he made in Al-Ain is enough to curb the greed of an average black man for life, he even said in one of his interviews “I enjoyed playing at Al Ain, I stayed for four seasons, and it changed my life financially forever.” Gyan is not broke. |

InvertedHammer: Not all heroes lose it all, only some does. They file for bankruptcy through personal attorney or legal adviser to the court for approval, as there is no external investigator to ascertain the claim. It is even illegal doing so, unless the government or banks or taxing institution files for probe to either stop the bankruptcy filling or sue afterwards. Advocates are good in their job, all for earnings as usual. Many players fake it to wave off unpaid debts or tax. Whites are not angels as widely potrays in the medias. They are loopers too! 5 Likes |

I blame it on their financial advisor. Probably, their moved their cash into a liquid market, to cut down taxes. In finance, declaring bankruptcy or selling 1 of your many mansions does not totally mean you're broke, it could be a move to get IRS and some other agencies off your track. 3 Likes |

The point about money is that it is mostly like liquid, it flows in and out. But most of them were extravagant shaa and as such, couldn't make little investment or philanthropic contribution. I don't think C-Ronaldo can ever be poor, courtesy of his large heart towards helping the poor. Try that, it doesn't fail cos most great men have attested to that. 1 Like |
