Thing is Saka is still non-committal for now but the lad will always stress how Nigerian he is and how proud he is to be a Nigerian lad although born in England. We may eventually land him. Time will tell. wink

He wants to play his preferred position for Arsenal. Heard about a new deal last week or there about. Maybe he wants settlement before National calls start becoming the norm.

We can still enjoy other football tournament within that period..
CHAN and world cup...

CAF can even use the opportunity to start a Nations league for interested members country ..
Chan is for home-based so it's out of it, world cup that we won't last more than 3 games at most 4. If CAF want to make it four years they need to look for a viable alternative

Look at the performances of African nations at the WC over years compared to even Asian countries. The question is why? And why is our every two years owambe not bringing any thin positivity besides African countries fighting for bragging rights of who is the best in Africa? We need to focus on quality not quantity. Africans needs to start setting a high bar. Go to the world and start to make a good challenge.

This was just a case of a guy going back on his words, except we all have to wait not on insider info nor nff or the coach confirming it, but wait for the players to do so on their social media handles or in press conference but that would be utterly stale and boring

On Victor Osimhen transfer matter

Osimhen’s agent Ariyo Igbayilola has spoken out on Spurs interest:

"We told Mourinho that if he wants Victor, will Harry Kane be leaving? If Harry Kane is still playing for Tottenham will Victor play? Because he will always be benched for him."

"Kane is their number one striker and he is the captain of England; all this will always work for him in the club but at Victor’s detriment."

"He [Osimhen] needs a club where he will always play full games week in, week out. Not to be kept on the bench.”

It’s not breaking news until it’s official.

news from intel dey sweet but it should be broken with a high degree of caution. Chriskels already knows that too well.

So how will making the AFCON a 4-year tournament help resolve that? Not like the Asians are achieving anything at the world cup too

Sometimes let's be careful about our instinctual deductions on what's actually happening. We all want what's best for Seyi Olofinjana, but the other guy may have a point. The question is, how well is Olofinjana doing with the wolves youth team. I just checked Wikipedia, and it says that, as of February 2019, he was the loan manager of the team. Based on this although he may be working for Wolves, i do not think he's coaching any of their youth teams currently. I may be wrong, in which case you may provide information that says otherwise. Perhaps you can clarify this if you have access to different information.
Thank you very much, was about to point it out that he's in charge of the loan system and not a coach. He monitors all the players on loan I remember I saw it on the internet sometimes ago

I love the way this young man is going with his career. He will rather stay at Lille rather than go to a BIG CLUB to sit on the bench. He chose career development over big club status and big pay. Kudos!!! I hope other players learn from this.

In a WC year the bragging rights could still be about who did best among the 5 countries . Then two years later we bring that rivalry to the continent. Hosting the games too frequently doesn’t guarantee progress. Focus is not put on hosting a quality competition. The standards for hosting is not set high enough when it’s hosted
too frequently.

The nations league is a very good idea.

Good Morning Family. I need you guys to help me answer this puzzle based on a Legend ( Chief Segun Odegbami) who loves our Local league so much and believes we should include Players from the NPFL in the Super Eagles.

Scenario: Chief Segun Odegbami owns a football academy. A bright talent in his academy has been spotted by a club in Belgium who believes this player has so much potential. The club offers to sign the player outright for 5 million Euros (N2.1 billion). With a provisio that Segun Odegbami's Academy will earn 5% from any sell on fees in the future. At the same time, Enyimba of Aba wants to sign the same player for one year so the player can develop in the NPFL.
Question: Which option do you think the Legend will take based on the fact he beleives so much in our league and going back to the "grassroots".?

Rohr on how Billing played us in order to get the attention of Denmark.

Yes my Intel never lied to me

Always two sides to a story.

Who is his agent no name l have seen many people claiming to be agents of a player when they are not.

Who should we believe two dramatically different stories. So Billing asks questions about the Nigerian team is not a commitment to the team.

Then who released all the spurious claims of Billings alleged change of allegiance to the press.

Once the press get involved you will never find out the truth. Because the press will create versions of the truth by exaggeration and sometimes untruths to get attention.
