meshpips: What is N50, 000? This is not forex platform where you bet N35,000 with members. Jejebaba, please don't send your account details. This guy isn't serious. People have millions of units of Zenith, GTB and other banking stocks and you think say dem come market come play. You tell someone to sell Zenith bank that they will buy back later. And you are telling people that it is N50, 000 deposit that you want to do. If you are advising an institution to short, you must back it up with money in case it doesn't go your way. 2 Likes |

ositadima1: It isn't about making returns. It is about short and long. Meshipps said Zenith will fall. Zenith cannot fall in isolation. All banks should do the fall. I'm long equities since mid March 2020. 1 Like 1 Share |

I'm also willing to provide 40,000 units of Zenith. Let's settle this once & for all. 50k is too small. Potential for loss or gain should be higher. N.B: I just had to logon with this rested moniker. |

RabbiDoracle: I agree, if Zenith were to fall that low every other stock will follow. Zenith is one of d most valuable stocks on the NSE this period. But, couldn't someone make more returns by anticipating pullbacks and capitalizing, instead of ridding long all through? Shebi dey said all trends come in five waves. ( Elliott) 1 Like |

April was the peak of lockdown and stocks still rose, e come be June that all countries have opened up, Brent is looking up, manufacturing picking up. Try grow sense na. 50K? To the professors in the house, should we be bullish about the market between June and August? Oga Oracle and the other big Ogas should help torchlight on some stocks. To Oga meshpips, the steps Nahco took in reducing salaries in 2020 is about preserving the company for the future. Airports were locked down late March and can possibly be till late June. That is like 3 months of little or no revenue. That's like 2.25b in revenue, it is good that they have decided to reward investors with 30k dividend this year. My advice to anyone going into the stock now is to watch and make quick gains. 2 Likes |

ositadima1: Yes you can anticipate pullbacks. But you must be sure that the pullback will take you to where you bought earlier. Example : If you buy a stock A at N2 and it gets to N4, and you see that there is a possibility of a dangerous pullback that could retest your earlier purchase price, then you could sell. Once it gets to the prive you bought earlier (N2) or goes lower, then you could buy more. But where you buy at N2 and it gets to N4, and you see a decline that sends it to N3.50 and you had sold hoping that it goes lower. But it doesn't. Now you buy back at N3.6 and still ride on. That means you shouldn't have sold. That is why you should do your calculations and analysis to be sure that before you sell that it must be the heat- causing pullback. Just like the January 2020 decline. 7 Likes 1 Share |

rebekah2011: In my opinion that will not stop the NAHCO stock from falling. It needs to fall first before rising. The aviation sector is opening up but I am suspecting they want to open regionally. That is those in EU will open up for EU states. So will they extend to Africa? There could be reduced patronage because people are still scared of travelling. |

RabbiDoracle: I see ur point, I was actually thinking along the lines of 10% to 7% retracements, mandetory 2% to the brocker and 5% to 8% extra for you while you ride the trend. That is, if that someone can anticipate with some accuracy. Also depending on that someone position size, it wouldn't work with people with very large positions.( like you, sir ) 1 Like |

Biafran4life: Even if Guinness doesn't close the gap, it will still sell higher in the next 4 years. People will still drink. The koko is for it to line your portfolio. NBrew sold at historical low of 22.50. GUINNESS sold at historical low of 17. Judging from where they are coming from, it is a great buy if you entered at those point. Imagine those on NBrew holding 93% gain now. For this bad market 2 Likes |
