I was the only one with that complaint. The hall had 20 Test Takers. The test was on Allen Avenue. Thanks for your response. I truly hope I can get some wisdom on how to resolve this BlestHanneSSG: 1 Like |

It could be demoralizing. If others didn't complain, then it's logical that the playback started right from where it stopped. However, playing it just few seconds to where it was disrupted may have made the story disjointed as one may not have connected well with the storyline. Did you complete any incidence form for the disruption? crespo67: |

I took this same test. And to be fair the recording started at the right place. The lady asked if any one had an issue and no one complained. Long story short the recording started at the right place but the power outage was totally wrong crespo67: |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by crespo67: 3:53pm On May 30, 2020 |
Thanks for clarifying, however the power cut made me loose concentration and I didn't pick at what point it started. Prior to that point, my test was smooth and since the issue happened because of the power cut, I believe they owe me a reasonable resolution. I do not know the best way to pursue a resolution, and I seek guidance. oyukuwife: |

Hey guys i have two different work experience the first one was 1year and the second one was 1year and 10 months. So my question is which duration of work experience is most suitable for me 2years or 3years or more |

crespo67:you will need to mail idp Australia and threaten them with legal action. I was given a free test in 2018 after as the speaker(not headset o) used in PH center for listening was not clear. We all filled the forms, idp Nigeria did nothing and still released the results. Na when dem hear legal action the Australia headquarters offered free test. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Two years. If you're still working, you can wait 2 months to claim 3 years. If NYSC isn't one of these work experiences, you can add that to claim 3 years. chuksey1: 1 Like |

chuksey1: Try to be honest when filling your profile so you won't enter wahala, your total work experience isn't up to 3 years please. Picking 2 years would be most suitable for you. If you're still working at one of the places you're claiming, the system will automatically change your points once you reach 3 years. 1 Like |

Good day to everyone on this great platform. There's an issue bothering me. I'm married but i opened an account with Wes for my credential evaluation with my maiden name because thats the name on my certificates.I intend to write Ielts exam with the same maiden name.My passport which will be expiring this november carries my maiden name and i intend entering the pool before it expires in november. My question is should i enter the pool with my maiden name, since my passport carries the same name, then i indicate somewhere in my application that am married or my husband's name since i'll be renewing my passport very soon. I dont even know how i'll put this my question but i hope someone understand me enough to answer me.Thanks |

Thanks so so much ednut1. I think this is exactly what I will do now. The lady confessed that they could even loose their license because of the power cut. I will do just this..send a very worded mail to Australia. Thanks a lot ednut1: |

Oh wow! Which kain light-distrupting village people come be this na? As earlier pointed out, if no one else complained, it will be a bit difficult, moreso that you just confirmed that everyone was asked if there was an issue and at that point, nobody signified. We can only hope for the best with the complaint @Crespo68 lodged. I totally agree with the @bolded. oyukuwife: |

Hello everyone. How is it going ? My question is this: - I plan to enter the pool at the end of this year after my NYSC. My PPA is a school but we are currently at home due to the lock down order. If we probably resume and I continue teaching in the school, can I still claim one year experience at the end of this year? |

crespo67: I would assume that continuous power supply would be a basic requirement for the test duration esp for listening......it's not too difficult even if it's to use UPS for the audio.....for just a few hours!!!! There is absolutely no excuse for what happened to you and it is irrelevant that others did not complain or that the audio continued in the right place. The disruption to concentration is enough to complain about. If it were me, I would send 20 emails to Australia between now and Monday so that they know they have a troublemaker on their hands. Don't rant o...let your email be well thought out, easy to understand and methodical with a chronology of how things played out. However, despite your emotions you have to preach to yourself and be prepared to write another exam if all else fails. It is not easy, it takes a lot of courage (and money) but these twists and turns are part of our journey. It will end in praise. 23 Likes 4 Shares |
