ovonramwen: Who said if money is more than 6months in your account it still won't be needing a gift deed or explanation of source? You have to provide the bank statements they asked for and explain everything to them hoping they understand. Plus, if you invested it, add/show proof of the investment to them too. Show them the outflow from your account to the friend's account who now invested it for you. Good luck. POF should remain in one's account till you get PPR to prevent any stories. except you invest, in which case you will have to show proof of investment, eg Treasury bill certificate, raise CSE after and show proof of investment. Leave nothing to chance. If you breathe differently from when you received AOR, you have to raise CSE. 6 Likes |

Thanks so much Mamoroon, your advice makes a lot of sense. The examiner was bold enough to say that since I was the only one that complained, so my complaint was inconsequential. I have done exactly as @ednut1 adviced me. I have sent a well thought out mail to IDP Australia and copied the Nigerian guys. And as you have suggested, I will keep disturbing their mail till I get a response. I really couldn't understand how they couldn't put the audio on a UPS. Thanks for the advice once again. I hope this yields the desired results. Mamaroon: 1 Like |

ans123:his friend gave him money, but it was paid directly to the invesment house on this behalf in may 2019. Aor was February 2020. So he got adr for additional proof of funds. They want to see how be got the money e.g trails. But the money did not. Originate from his account. Well to be this is 50:50. He should just explain the story as it is. Money had been with him since may 2019 so its a pointer its not borrowed. |

Hi guys, Soo I’ve heard about the Canadian Permanent Residency program for a while now but money has not allowed me take a step.. so I didn’t really do research in it.. But 2 of my friends have been trying to convince me but I’m getting conflicting information.. My profile 26yrs, BSc Biomed Engr, 2.2, And I'd have 3years work experience by the end of this year Friend 1, Has said I need to write IELTS only and have WES done.. that the extra certificate is only for Job Search and isn’t useful in giving me points. Friend 2, Has said I needed an extra certificate and advised me to do the BCS Certificate in IT, to give me more points, IELTS and WES.. I’ve joined a telegram group chat from here regarding the BCS thing and I’m about to pay but I’m worried I might be wasting money.. Please I’m getting a lot of information, I’m now a bit confused and I need help in sifting through the information.. |

Goldenchild01: You may want to do some research before you decide. Check here for a summary of the program according to NL. https://www.nairaland.com/5471101/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#83120560 Check here to see what your likely CRS will be: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp 4 Likes 1 Share |

Goldenchild01:read page 1 to understand the process. Friend 2 is correct. You would need to score the highest ielts bands in at least 3 out of 4 modules to score 470 and above. Listening 8.5, reading 8, speaking and writing 7.5 or 7 5 Likes 1 Share |

Exactly!. Please even if the money has been in your account for a year sef the case officer can still ask for evidence that the money is yours. So if the money was gifted to you a year or less before ITA just jejely submit a gift deed because the fund is still a gift. The CO might need more answers if your annual income stated on your reference letter for any number of years doesn’t add up and also if you have been unemployed for the last one year or more(my theory). Print your account statement showing when you initially transferred the money to your friend or contact an immigration lawyer if you don’t have such proof. Otoge: 2 Likes |

crespo67:But in developed countries, they wait to hear one person complain to grant sth. Eg Do you want a break? Silence, later once one person says yes, ok you guys should go on a 15min break. |

I beg you in the name of God don't consider doing gifts for a friend o! It will worsen matters. How do you want to explain why a friend would dash you money in this harsh economy, hence it's most advisable gift deed comes from a family member. Your issue is a very delicate one, starting with the fact that you have been wrongly classified as PNP. Have you made a phone call to first clarify that that mail was not sent to you in error? I hope the experience seniors rises up early enough to guide you appropriately. ovonramwen: 4 Likes |

This a very dicey situation given the circumstance in which money changed hands. My honest opinion is to contact an expert immigration lawyer. Don't attemp to reply yourself Kekereekun123: 1 Like 1 Share |

crespo67: you should have ignored the problem nd focus on finishing the test first. after the test then you can now complain. at this rate, even if they want to pacify you, the only pacification is to allow you retake the whole test. you'll still be on the losing side of this matter. 1 Like |
