Glad to see the OP has deleted the body of the post he made. All you little kids can keep arguing back and forth like the untrained, illegitimate dregs of society you are. Final over and out. 1 Like |

whirlwind7: It's like you don't know it's one person with multiple monikers or a group in cahoots that's doing this! They must have a deepseated hatred for Igbos and be wrecked with insecurities...anytime the thread is moving well with positive discussions and pics/videos, they start this rubbish of trying to derail the thread! And then Spyder will fall for their bait and delete the thread title. 2 Likes |

sage: What do you mean by igbo intellectuals and industrialists ? Because last I checked tonimas, udeagbala, the owner of crunches, the CEO of vallumbra and many other "igbo intellectuals and industrialists " still live in Aba. Am not trying to convince you, but only responding so that you fallacious assertions won't become a misnomer. A lot of igbos live in Lagos, that's not an aba thing, it's a SE problem. Besides, the only cities in the SE that absorbs a fraction of the graduates from the east yearly is aba and onitsha/nnewi-and that's a fact. I don't see why you have to put the blame on Aba for a South Eastern problem. You may not like Aba or it's present governor, but even you can't deny the scale of investments coming into the city. The last was the Nigerian center of correction trying to set up a shoe factory in aba, before that was Nibra. It means something is being done right. As for our cultural decadence, Aba speaks igbo, the abribas and some other sub groups like the ngwa native to aba have always done a yearly celebration of their heritage. Actually apart from anambra I don't see any other SE state that nourishes it's heritage like Abia. For instance, when I went for a traditional marriage in owerri, we where shocked when the traditional ruler of the village (the grooms dad is an eze from Abia) speaking in English proudly told us that the have dispensed with the rituals associated with breaking of the kolanut 3 Likes |

When their is a problem in any particular location with Igbo business, if you check, Afonja is there. The samething they did with IVM, they have started with Air Peace. “The management of Air Peace wishes to announce that its evacuation flight to Canada previously scheduled for May 14, 2020, has been postponed due to logistics issues as communicated to the airline by the Nigerian High Commission in Canada,” the statement by Air Peace read. “Once the issues are resolved with the Canadian authorities and a new date is issued by the High Commission, we shall duly communicate same to the public.” His Excellency Mr. Adeyinka Asekun is a business management professional, a seasoned banking and marketing and marketing practitioner, and the current Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada.

phoenix911: Actually, we have been paying taxes. For those shouting 'Aba is dead' up and down, FIRS wouldn't bother having a branch in a 'dead city' or would they?? They have two branches in the 'dead state'. There is also one in Umuahia. The one below is the branch in Aba. 3 Likes

Clip showcasing the potentials of Azumini having a seaport. Though i think it will need some dredging and widening of the channel, what strikes me most is the natural and unspoilt beauty of the place! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKpgOO_d4u0 2 Likes 1 Share |

pazienza: You still have the guts to denigrate abia state while 60% of your enugu people are in poverty. You really haven't changed, have you? Stupidity really looks good on you. Abia isn't supporting bad leadership like you sadistically claim. We only don't take our states criticism overboard. Sick narcissists like you won't see that. Anu ohia k'ibu..... 2 Likes |

superlightning:Pazienza is right. Abia is supporting bad leadership. Nnamdi Kanu and countless Abians are guilty of this. Orji Uzor Kalu is Nnamdi Kanu's demi god. I'm yet to see him criticize Kalu and even Theodore Orji the way he criticizes Rochas Okorocha and Umahi. Just saying. |
