While we are discussing about my state, let's not forget that Ebonyi people are the poorest in the entire southern Nigeria. 80% poverty rate in Ebonyi state is something to worry about in an eastern state.

As must as we wanna dismiss the report by NBS. Let's tell ourselves the bitter truth. If we consider that human capital development in Ebonyi is almost zero then we are already coming to reality with the report.

What about the educational status? Ebonyi is among the most educationally disadvantaged states in Nigeria.

The poverty status of Ebonyi state people should be a source of worry for the entire Igbo race.

Why are you polluting this thread?

Take your madness along with your group to another thread please.

It's like you don't know it's one person with multiple monikers or a group in cahoots that's doing this! They must have a deepseated hatred for Igbos and be wrecked with insecurities...anytime the thread is moving well with positive discussions and pics/videos, they start this rubbish of trying to derail the thread! And then Spyder will fall for their bait and delete the thread title.

The roads Ikpeazu admin’ construct, generally look durable. But a problem i have with their efforts is that there’s zero attempt on aesthetics....making the street or area look appealing to the eye after the roads have been constructed! There’s a ‘local’ mentality that’s rife in governance in Nigeria as a whole, and it smacks of a lack of exposure and class!

Nwanne i ga adi. Thats my problem with him o......he doesn't decorate many of the roads at all. But half a loaf is better than none. Let him continue with building roads. His successor can design and make them appealing

Lol! Afonjas at work. Don’t be fooled by their tactics. Proxy wars is always their forte, you hardly see them fight with their real monikers. Yoruba’s!

Dude you don't need to convince me or anybody else of anything. Its something that T.A Orji, his son and Ikpeazu don't seem to understand. Reality is a very stubborn thing that an army of propagandists will eventually bow down to.

To continue their criminal enterprise with impunity they have invested in a vast propaganda machine that believe they can alter reality and pretend that Aba and Abia State is better than it is and deceive people. All while Abia sinks below Zamfara, and the worst Northern states in Nigeria.

What they don't know is that not only can the criminal enterprise not last forever, it is a completely wasted effort that is destroying the most talented and promising city in the east.

Igbo intellectuals and rich industrialists who used to live in Aba now all live in Lagos. Igbo land is desolate. Our language and culture is being lost and our people are dispersed all around the world.

All so some criminals can keep enjoying the loot that they did not work for

What do you mean by igbo intellectuals and industrialists ?
Because last I checked tonimas, udeagbala, the owner of crunches, the CEO of vallumbra and many other "igbo intellectuals and industrialists " still live in Aba.
Am not trying to convince you, but only responding so that you fallacious assertions won't become a misnomer.
A lot of igbos live in Lagos, that's not an aba thing, it's a SE problem.

Besides, the only cities in the SE that absorbs a fraction of the graduates from the east yearly is aba and onitsha/nnewi-and that's a fact. I don't see why you have to put the blame on Aba for a South Eastern problem. You may not like Aba or it's present governor, but even you can't deny the scale of investments coming into the city.
The last was the Nigerian center of correction trying to set up a shoe factory in aba, before that was Nibra. It means something is being done right.
As for our cultural decadence, Aba speaks igbo, the abribas and some other sub groups like the ngwa native to aba have always done a yearly celebration of their heritage.
Actually apart from anambra I don't see any other SE state that nourishes it's heritage like Abia. For instance, when I went for a traditional marriage in owerri, we where shocked when the traditional ruler of the village (the grooms dad is an eze from Abia) speaking in English proudly told us that the have dispensed with the rituals associated with breaking of the kolanut

When their is a problem in any particular location with Igbo business, if you check, Afonja is there.

The samething they did with IVM, they have started with Air Peace.

The management of Air Peace wishes to announce that its evacuation flight to Canada previously scheduled for May 14, 2020, has been postponed due to logistics issues as communicated to the airline by the Nigerian High Commission in Canada,” the statement by Air Peace read. “Once the issues are resolved with the Canadian authorities and a new date is issued by the High Commission, we shall duly communicate same to the public.”

The southeast is lagging behind IGR because our leaders are not exploring the areas their strength is (PROPERTY TAXES) Yes you heard me right if our governors will have the political will to tax the properties in our villages yes village not only the cities believe me our IGR will increase 300/400%. We have all the thousand even millions of houses in our villages that have no monetary value other than show off.

Actually, we have been paying taxes. For those shouting 'Aba is dead' up and down, FIRS wouldn't bother having a branch in a 'dead city' or would they?? They have two branches in the 'dead state'. There is also one in Umuahia. The one below is the branch in Aba.

Abia is full of hungry teeming young graduates whose only aspiration in life is to serve as media propaganda machine for T. A orji, OUK, Ikpeazu and their other minnows. You see them all over social media defending these failures.

They are even on this thread alone.

Abia is a disgrace to Ndiigbo as a whole. A big disappointment and let down. It's about time we started telling them the bloody truth. Abia as things stands are at the rock bottom of infrastructural development rankings in South East, and they are at the bottom by a distant miles.

What an embarrassment.

You still have the guts to denigrate abia state while 60% of your enugu people are in poverty. You really haven't changed, have you?

Stupidity really looks good on you.

Abia isn't supporting bad leadership like you sadistically claim. We only don't take our states criticism overboard.
Sick narcissists like you won't see that.

Pazienza is right. Abia is supporting bad leadership. Nnamdi Kanu and countless Abians are guilty of this. Orji Uzor Kalu is Nnamdi Kanu's demi god. I'm yet to see him criticize Kalu and even Theodore Orji the way he criticizes Rochas Okorocha and Umahi.
Just saying.
