Talking about men's trashiness won't solve the problem. Some men will react to it, you'll call them rapists and rape apologists, they'll call you names and it'll become a needless back and forth. What's needed is action. A few tweets is not the action.

The VAPP act is the most comprehensive FG attempt to tackle all the issues around rape. But not all states have ratified it. Genevieve and her friends should lobby, and if possible, call for protests in states that are yet to do so. I know a lot of men that will be happy to join.

There are a few groups of pro bono lawyers that take up these cases. Genevieve and her friends should help with the funding of these groups. Help them do a better job. Or even create one yourself and ask your friends to donate to it. She's a goddess who's popular. A lot of people would donate.

She and her friends should also help some of these young rape survivors to develop life skills and even become mentors for young girls who are finding it hard to face those who have abused them.

But I guess it's more 'sensible' to tweet. More 'sensible' to argue which guy is a rape apologist or not. After a few days, we will all go back to living our lives, waiting for the next sad news of a girl who has been raped.
