Have you suddenly found voice again? Were you there when youths attacked TA ORJI? Threatened Orji Kalu? Or challenged Ikpeazu? Of course you weren't there.

All you do is armchair criticism.

Honestly you deserve a dirty slap. I hope to see you in person.

You Abia people are despicable. Till date Ikpeazu still render financial account to TA Orji and his son, and you still believe the era of Orji and Ikuku is in the past. Ikuku is now the speaker of Abia state house of Assembly, this happened and you guys kept quiet like cold water. In a society that is desirous of change, such would not have happened. They would have resisted it. But Ikuku went ahead to become speaker.

Do you know that with Ikuku as speaker, Okezie is now fully under their axe and could be impeached if he dare try to renege from sharing allocation with him and his father(TA Orji. Have you seen why Abia state has been in retrogression all these years(since 1999), because monies meant for development of Abia state is shared in Abuja.

Now with Ikuku as the speakers, he has positioned himself as the next governor of Abia state, with him as your governor, do you still believe there is hope for Abia state? ofcourse not cheesy

He did nothing in his tenure as ASEPA chairman under T. A.
Aba remained in filth throughout his reign.

He has done nothing to change the narrative of Aba since 2015 he came onboard . He will certainly do nothing but loot more for his retirement plan in the next 2yrs, since it's obvious he is not going to the Senate with Abaribe still there.

So you can try another propaganda.

How was that possible? I mean the highlighted part. Because of the I-don't-care-attitude of most Abians

Who is manipulating you? Have you seen why Ikuku was able to have his way and became speaker. This was the same reason Okezie won 2nd term despite huge outstanding civil servants salaries that has remained unpaid till date, what about his zero performance on infrastructures before he was again compensated with 2nd term by clannish people like you that constitute 80% of Abians. That was the same reason TA Orji despite his 8 wasted years was also compensated with senatorial position. The above has never happened anywhere in else in SE. When it tried to happen under Mbadinuju, he was stopped immediately and shown the way out, it didn't succeed in Imo state either when Ohakim started his own drama.

I bet if Mbadinuju was from Abia, he would be revered and compensated with senatorial position like you guys did for Orji Kalu.

The T. A dynasty are exploiting the dichotomy (Ohuhu/Ngwa) in the state.
You can't criticize Ikpeazu in Abia without being accused of being a jealous Ohuhu who hates Ngwa man. Don't even try to tell them that Ikpeazu is but a T. A rubber stamp. You will be reminded by hordes of hungry youths in T. A pay roll that T. A is a friend of Ndi Ngwa who helped make an Ngwa man a governor at a time Ndi Ohuhu never wanted an Ngwa to rule Abia.
You would be branded Ngwa hater.

Come 2023, Ikuku and T. A would demand for Ngwa vote and the propaganda would be that Ngwa should vote him because he helped work for Ngwa governor.
Anyone against Ikuku candidature would also be branded an Ngwa hater who is against Ikuku because he helped make an Ngwa man the governor of the state.

These lots are very easy to manipulate. Clannish sentiments have eaten deep into their common sense.

In the video he used blacks as a case study, but I believe it's also applicable to us southern Nigerians ( Igbo, Yoruba , or anyone) , since I can liken white supremacy to northern Nigeria political dominance

You are still playing the Ngwa/Ohuhu nonsense games. Mind you, I lived in Aba for full complete four years. And still have cousins living in the city as we speak. I am no stranger to Abia politics.
You said T. A was nepotic, inferring that he didn't develop Ngwaland, ie Aba.
But did T. A develop anywhere at all in Abia state?
Does Umuahia look like a state capital? Umuahia is just a glorified Okigwe.
T. A did not develop anywhere in Abia, not Umuahia, not Isuikwuato (where a big gully erosion had separated the town from ABSU Uturu) not Arochukwu ( their roads are so bad. My best friend is from there), not Ohafia, not Umunneochi.
So where did T.A develop that you are saying he was nepotic? All he did was buy choice lands and houses in Umuahia metropolis.
T. A was not nepotic, he was a chronic looter and Ikpeazu was his boy who served in ASEPA during his regime.
Ikpeazu couldn't keep Aba clean as ASEPA chairman, yet his incompetence was rewarded with governorship position because he was a loyal stooge.
You Abians are incapable of rising above your clannish sentiments. That's why the state is in ruins infrastructurally speaking.

What exactly has Ikpeazu achieved since 2015?
Infrastructurally speaking?
Infrastructures are not "just", they are key and important aspect of governance.

I don't know the state you think I'm from, but regardless of where I am from, Abia since 1999 has been on the path of retrogression.
If you are angry that we are not giving up on Abia, that we are condemning everything wrong with Abia, then do something about it.
Kick out the Orjis and their proteges (Ikpeazu inclusive) from government. Rise above your childish Ohuhu/Ngwa dichotomy that the Orjis are exploiting and start a new reign of competence leadership Like Anambra did when Uba and Ngige were kicked out.

If we are angry and lashing out at Abia, it's because we know the potential the state holds and what it could mean to Ndiigbo if Abia starts living up to its full potential

you must take some of us for fools. During t. a Orji's reign umuahia was only second in the list of developing capitals in the east -yes I have been on Nairaland for that long.
if you truly know Abia as much as you claim, you would acknowledge that at the heart of umuahia their was a slump settlement -very close to FMC.
At isigate their used to be an eyesore of a market.
The present location of Abia mall was a cattle market, umuahia had nothing going for it.
It was t. a that built umuahia as it is today, bank road, the road leading into umuahia from Tower and virtually any dualised road in umuahia today, the State office complexes,The State international Conference Center, The new government house,
all the modern markets in umuahia today, it's him that built the substation giving umuahia light today,he built estates and even he expanded umuahia (the ogburu layout axis) .Guess you didn't know that he is from that area?

for all I loath T. a I can not claim not to know how he at least gave umuahia a right to pretend to be a city.

now coming back to the present, am happy you acknowledged being out of touch with realities on ground in aba ,but am still wondering why you keep pushing around the goal post.
I have made mention of investments in the last year aba has gotten to show the city is on the mend, but you seem hell bent on ignoring it. I can post pics of new road construction and of completed ones but I believe you would still be hell bent on your assumptions.

which makes me wonder if you actually disguise your bias of Aba under a clock of concern?
by the way, we saw the supposed poverty level of your state -is it living up to its potential? hell which state in Nigeria is living up to its potential?

Lol!

What exactly did T. A build in Umuahia? I swear you lots are sniffing something bad in that state.
Where are the flyovers in Umuahia, where are the landmark infrastructures? What exactly do you call development over there?
You call relocation of markets, dividing of narrow one lane roads with center blocks and branding it dualization is what you call infrastructural development.
Are you not seeing Abakaliki and Umahi? Are people alright at all in that state.
So in your mind now, T. A worked in Umuahia?

Chai! There is no hope for Abia state. I had sadly found out that majority of Abians reason like you do.
All you are interested in is to push the Ohuhu vs Ngwa agenda, where it fails, especially if the person arguing is not from Abia, you start the Abia vs the other SE states distraction.

I have never been on NL to gather anyone praise admiration. Sorry to disappoint you.

Umuahia is hardly developed. T. A did next to nothing there. Showing a few tarred roads will not cut it.
Flyovers are not all there are to city planning, but they sure do ease traffic congestion in critical junctions.
If what T.A did in Umuahia, ie splitting small roads painting culverts and calling it dualization looks like massive infrastructural development to you, then there is no point of this argument.
I guess Ikpeazu is doing wonderful work on Aba too.

Keep eating those crumbs from those politicians that are looting Abia dry and come here to defend mediocrity.
Those women and men owed backlogs of salaries in Abia, who go hungry every night, so that your masters can pay you your crumbs, their anguish and pains will be upon you and your generations unborn.
Continue. Your cup will soon full.

What has Ikpeazu done in Aba since 2015 as a governor?
What?
He was ASEPA head under T. A, what did he do to keep Aba clean?

Who cares about what you think about my love or hate for Aba ? Just because you are incapable of rising above your parochial and clannish orientation does not mean the rest of us are going to put up with your mediocrity as the norm.

So because Ikpeazu is an Ngwa man, the rest of Ndi Abia and Ndiigbo can longer point out how a colossal failure he has become without Ngwa people like you coming out to play your clannish card?
Bomb dey una head! Dem no born una well.

We will tell you the truth, if you are too angry, go and lay eggs. You will not determine how we judge Abia, you can only put up defense by showing us pictures, which umueme has failed to do so far, because obviously, there are no good pictures to show.
BTW, where is ChinenyeN. Come and carry your Ngwa brothers, their case can no longer be settled.
If not because I am trying not to arm Afonjas with Arsenal to attack Ndiigbo, I would have exposed all the failures of Ikpeazu here in pictures.

No one is a saint, but what is going on in Abia state since 1999 is sheer wickedness.

How can people be so wicked? Because of a few pennies they are given they promote propaganda that impoverishes Abians and destroys their future.

A couple of Igbo people I know living overseas have wanted to set up businesses that would employ hundreds of youths and pay them as much money as they would make in Lagos in Aba and help bolster the economy of the east. Unfortunately whenever we come to Aba (including this year) and see the horror the city is in we are left speechless and have held off.

If the criminal gang holding Abia hostage were removed tomorrow, the amount of investments pouring into the city would dwarf the crumbs T.A Orji, Ikuku and Ikpeazu give their propaganda army and provide massive employment opportunities for them.

A lot of Igbos would not need to move to Lagos anymore to secure high paying jobs

Ikuku is the governor elect of Abia come 2023.

Everyone in Abia knows this. They are just not bothered anymore.
Only the civil servants are directly affected. The traders are doing their trading in filthy environment making their millions, the artisans and craftsmen are busy making their shoes,, cloths, etc in the dirt like that. The industrialists Like Tonimas and co and busy doing their business too.
As far as they remain the best in the Business and at a very competitive price, people will troop in from All parts of SE and SS to swim the Aba dirt and patronize them. They make their money regardless.
So there seem to be no political will there to rid themselves of T. A dynasty.
It's a tragic state of things in Abia.

Based on PDP rotation policy in the state, the next governorship in 2023 goes to Abia North zone and Ikuku's constituency is not Abia North, it's Abia Central.

Pazienza you can't know everything. you are so wrong here. Don't go any further.

There is no rule it must start from Abia North.

By the end of Ikpeazu tenure all the three senatorial zones of Abia would have had two tenures each.
It means the beginning of a new circle and there is no rule that Abia North must start the new circle. It can start from Central or North.

This is the Argument T.A and Ikuku servants on facebook have been pushing and it's a rational one.
Its same argument Ekwerrwmmadu sycophants in Enugu who wants him to run for governorship position in the state are pushing.

So yea! Ikuku has his eyes on Abia governorship come 2023, and looking at how disorganized Abians are, he might as well have his way.
