If you do something wrong and your mum or dad promise to punish you, just pluck some of your eye lashes and they would forget.

Does God really exist??
He doesn't exist. There's no proof of his existence. Even spirits, devil, angels, jinn, witches etc. They only exist in imaginations and the holy books.

When broom touches a girl either by sweeping accidentally or intentionally she will not marry, so the person who did that have to spit on the broom and hit it on the floor two times so it won't have effect on the girl.

When I see this white birds flying in the sky there's a song we sing in our language and we have white spots on our finger nails, we believe the birds are responsible for that.

So many things our parents told us and we believed them then it's not our fault
Exactly it seems they told us all this just to make us fear or keep us in ignorance.

As a kid, i use to think that if i point at a grave somethin bad will happen to me. The remedy after pointing at a grave is to bite my ten fingers.

As a kid if i mistakenly killed a duck, i was told to put coins in its mouth else it will turn to a snake and bite me in the night

I used to believe that when you bend down and look between your legs, you'll see spirits walking on their head and legs up. We used to be afraid to do that then.

We were also told then in the village that if you point at a masquerade, your hand will bend.

We were also told then that if you wave your hand to white flying birds, it will give you water finger. It worked then though. Quite mysterious.
that bird own really worked

Yeah but the person you quoted was talking about leaders and readers...So I want to emphasize that readers will still generally be leaders minus the few exceptions. And being a leader doe not mean being wealthy either.
