Sadly, the billions were wasted. It was like a case of water being poured into basket! Today, the companies are shells of themselves. Bad management, greed and governance issues are central to their current deplorable state. PETERiCHY: 1 Like |

Well said. UACN reminds one of the likes of Kingsway, Leventis, John Holt, UTC. Their trajectories align with that of UACN. Godlylifeoneart: 4 Likes |

Godlylifeoneart:Well said, am still looking for what exactly made UACN all of a sudden, beautiful bride? I cannot see, all am seeing is that they want to set UPDC REIT free and finally celebrate the funeral ceremony of UAC property at car park of 20 kobo and thereby possibly return the parents company to #1 territory. Forward looking statement, after all these, REIT will be the best place to invest after their 100% freedom. https://businesspost.ng/economy/unbundling-from-updc-may-not-happen-july-uac-nigeria/amp/ Some that are marketing this are not long time investors, it will also be good to tell their faithful when they are bailing out. Because it might be suicide mission if unbundle door close against someone in this journey. UACN ( the parent company) made #1.32 in 2019 final year result which sells of their belonging was part of it they paid just 10 kobo dividend, and in their previous year before last year, they made EPs of 96 kobo, meaning that the strength of their EPs is within that of Caverton, NPF, FCMB and Fidelity Their child UACN property upon the huge money poured into them, the money gotten from the right offer, they still report negative earning of -612 kobo in their 2019 final year result, their grand child UPDC REIT where the hope lies has 16 kobo in their 2020 q1 result. And from the unbundle UACN share holder will get 0.5 of every one share held in the parent company. Meaning if you have 1unit of UACN you will be allotted half unit of REIT, and 6 unit of UACN property. The question is this when the unbundle door closes, before final separation, will one be opportune to bail out from The UACN Property, that's why one of the stock market analyst put them at 20kobo worse case scenario that is #1.20 for 6, at that can one be opportune to bail out, then since the beautiful bride has let go, where can parents company find its fair price maybe at #3/#4. The onions them will remain the half of UPDC at #1.7. 4 Likes |

RabbiDoracle: Tested the NYSE/NASDAQ waters yesterday for the first time and was a great feeling. I realize that its a market that is, of course deeper than nse and money could be lost or made within a blink of an eye. Based on financial management theory, I will say their market is an Efficient market where prices quickly reflect information about company performance, industry news and economic situation as Investors don't waste time reacting to such news in that clime... However, i was shocked when a share that traded below $1 suddenly rose to almost $20 yesterday. I was stunned wondering why a stock will amass such crazy gain in a day. Anyways, i am gradually settling down to better understand the market more. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

OakPearl:Yes, all the post you quoted where before the right issue was announced when I was yet to conclude my research on UACN. As soon as I concluded the research, I made it clear to everyone that the deal will favour the shareholders of UACN and that I was buying UACN. Below are some of my post during that time. Uchetoba: Uchetoba: Uchetoba:at least I did not try to deceive anyone that the thing was not good.
