If your mandate is active, you have nothing to worry about. Sometimes it takes 48 hours.

Sadly, the billions were wasted. It was like a case of water being poured into basket! Today, the companies are shells of themselves. Bad management, greed and governance issues are central to their current deplorable state.

PETERiCHY:

You are now getting the drift. Of course no markdown and the sharing formula won't change..

Ratherr just like the case of AIICO the UPDC RIGHT ISSUE were used by the COWBOYS to increase their holdings in UPDC

Note the qualifications date for the right issue was dated back to Sept 30th 2019 that tell you there is COOKIES IN THE JAR.

ABOVE ALL FEW WEEKS AGO I ASKED THE QUESTION BELOW.

In 2013 one of UACN cashcow subsidiary called UPDC REIT was listed at N10 per share with market value of N30billion

In 2017 another UACN subsidiary called UPDC raised N5b right issue at N3 per share

Again in 2020 UPDC raised another N15.96B via right issue at N1.00 per share

In 2018 UACN the parents coy raised N16.2b via a right issue at the rate of N16 per share

Now that UACN the parents want to unbundle their 94% shareholding in UPDC and their 65% shareholding in UPDC REITS and split the shares among their minority shareholders.

Now ask yourself after all this billions were pumped into UACN and iit subsidiary what do you thiink will be the VALUE of UACN

PONDER ON THAT AND DON'T BE DISTRACTED BY ANY SNAKE.

BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE!

Absolute truth.
The question is akin to asking what Nigeria did with her oil wealth?

Or maybe they decided to pay the heavy weights first. Pa Emma falls under that category.

Well said. UACN reminds one of the likes of Kingsway, Leventis, John Holt, UTC. Their trajectories align with that of UACN.

My big bra,
The more we look, the less we see.
How much did ignis paid for FORTE?
N66./UNIT
How much is forte today?
Don't be surprised, this core investor is benefiting from one of the lucrative supply chains in UACN.
They only invested the profits made from uacn to invest in UACN.
About 30 to 50 million units of UACN sold between Jan and may this year was disposed by core insiders (NSE corporate alert is the source)
Why were they selling?
When the dramatic unbundling that will unlock the potential of UACN is just around the corner.
Today, ignis is smiling to the bank.
For ignis to have paid N66 for Forte oil, one would have staked his destiny on the Northward trajectory of the company, today, the book value of Forte oil is N22-24.
My brother, it is risky to trust what we do not have a control over.
Fundamentally and technically speaking, uacn best journey is Circa 8 to 12.
This is only possible if the Negative eps of 2019 financial year could be reversed.
We are talking of a company that is paying index dividend with money realized from sale of equity to imperial logistics of South Africa in MDS logistics.
Somehow, I am of the view that UACN asset is overstated why debt is under-reported. I hope I am wrong.
Reason being that UACN has not made a significant profit in the last 3 years.
All the rights issue were used to offset recurrent expenditures. (SALARIES AND WAGES) of corporate exuberance.
It is a pity, the hx of UACN is embarrassing to shareholders.
Many subsidiaries are dead, now in archive of history.
Textile DIV... Dead
Africa Timber and plywood DIV... Dead
Automobile DIV... Dead
Tractor and equipment dvsn... Dead
Kingsway.... Dead
A J Seward..... dead
We are hoping for the best and a dramatic turn around for this company.
May the new management succeed in achieving their new vision and mission for UACN.

Well said, am still looking for what exactly made UACN all of a sudden, beautiful bride? I cannot see, all am seeing is that they want to set UPDC REIT free and finally celebrate the funeral ceremony of UAC property at car park of 20 kobo and thereby possibly return the parents company to #1 territory.
Forward looking statement, after all these, REIT will be the best place to invest after their 100% freedom.

https://businesspost.ng/economy/unbundling-from-updc-may-not-happen-july-uac-nigeria/amp/

Some that are marketing this are not long time investors, it will also be good to tell their faithful when they are bailing out. Because it might be suicide mission if unbundle door close against someone in this journey. UACN ( the parent company) made #1.32 in 2019 final year result which sells of their belonging was part of it they paid just 10 kobo dividend, and in their previous year before last year, they made EPs of 96 kobo, meaning that the strength of their EPs is within that of Caverton, NPF, FCMB and Fidelity

Their child UACN property upon the huge money poured into them, the money gotten from the right offer, they still report negative earning of -612 kobo in their 2019 final year result, their grand child UPDC REIT where the hope lies has 16 kobo in their 2020 q1 result.

And from the unbundle UACN share holder will get 0.5 of every one share held in the parent company. Meaning if you have 1unit of UACN you will be allotted half unit of REIT, and 6 unit of UACN property.

The question is this when the unbundle door closes, before final separation, will one be opportune to bail out from The UACN Property, that's why
one of the stock market analyst put them at 20kobo worse case scenario that is #1.20 for 6, at that can one be opportune to bail out, then since the beautiful bride has let go, where can parents company find its fair price maybe at #3/#4. The onions them will remain the half of UPDC at #1.7.

Bro,

Dow at 26K.

NASDAQ has made a V-shaped recovery.

Tested the NYSE/NASDAQ waters yesterday for the first time and was a great feeling. I realize that its a market that is, of course deeper than nse and money could be lost or made within a blink of an eye. Based on financial management theory, I will say their market is an Efficient market where prices quickly reflect information about company performance, industry news and economic situation as Investors don't waste time reacting to such news in that clime... grin

However, i was shocked when a share that traded below $1 suddenly rose to almost $20 yesterday. I was stunned wondering why a stock will amass such crazy gain in a day. Anyways, i am gradually settling down to better understand the market more.

And Brent crude tested $40 today, and currently at $39.62 https://oilprice.com

That is good and positive news for bull return, q2 result might delay the bull a little, but q3 and q4 will likely welcomes it.

Yes, all the post you quoted where before the right issue was announced when I was yet to conclude my research on UACN. As soon as I concluded the research, I made it clear to everyone that the deal will favour the shareholders of UACN and that I was buying UACN. Below are some of my post during that time.

From my research so far, this unbundling of a thing is going to favour uacn shareholders alot

I will post the numbers from the research after investing enough in uacn.

at least I did not try to deceive anyone that the thing was not good.

The below post was the information I release here that made Agbalaowomeri to buy 100% UACN by December/January:
Uchetoba:
Infact the right issue of UPDC makes the whole unbundling thing more protitable for UACN shareholders.
The debt that UPDC own UACN will be converted to UPDC right.
