A man whose name was simply given as Edafe was reportedly killed by a thunderbolt in Benin City, on Thursday (today).

Igbere TV reliably gathered that the incident happened during a ‘misery rainfall’, which lasted for only few minutes.

He was said to be working in a building site with others around the Cattle Market in Asoro Hill, Ekehuan Road when the rain started leading to them taking refuge in a nearby uncompleted building.

The thunderbolt was said to have displaced all of them as it stroke leaving Edafe dead instantly.

As at the time of filing this report, the corpse was yet to be evacuated by men of the Nigerian police force.

daddytime:

Wetin be thunderbolt?

As nouns the difference between lightning
and thunderbolt

is that lightning is a flash of light
produced by short-duration, high-voltage
discharge of electricity within a cloud,
between clouds, or between a cloud and
the earth while thunderbolt is a flash of
lightning accompanied by a crash of
thunder.

It is in Edo you see where they use thunder strike to call out a suspected or wanted rapist thief, burglar, etc..

I'm checking something on this guy.

Maybe the guy lied on Oath before the ancestors or he raped Chief Priest Wife. I can't wish you Rest In Peace coz Sango just dealt with you in the most ignoble way.
