Are you learning Fortran for school or personal development? If for personal development, please look into some other languages like C, C++,FPGA, Matlab, VHDL and Verilog. If your plan is to be coding more of small machines firmware (embedded systems) for automation, please Fortran may not really help. For school, just learn and pass.

It seems you work more on the backend or non-web facing parts of applications.

Yes I work mainly on backend

I used to use HTML and CSS for for 'play' because I used to steal existing source code from websites and tweak it, nothing serious though

But my 28 year old handsome brother who is an engineer and a young business man in Lagos always keep talking about not getting married unless he finds a God fearing yoruba woman into tech & coding.

Please what is it about you techies?

Edit: ok, this blew up unexpectedly.. if you're a female techie (tribe regardless), live in Lagos and within my brother's age bracket.. quote this post.. I'd get in touch.. he wants to get in a serious relationship. kiss

That's a recommended way of building web pages, before building from scratch it's always good to look for a sample website with similar functionalities and structure
I hope you left the website's logo you copied from on your own web site

ToyinDipo:

How is it not a programming language
It's called a mark up language and differs from a programming language because it cannot process data and make decisions (no control operators like if, switch, else, for, etc), but is only used to format the appearance of a Web page.
