vankelvin: Have you taken your time to do research on Kimberly, George, Centurion etc he listed before you start assume all cities in South Africa are better than Nigeria cities? Besides, I have been to Calabar and Enugu and they are far better than George, the best city in South Africa. Moreover, Ibadan is far more developed than Calabar and Enugu. 4 Likes |

jln115: I have to agree with jln115, Most parts of Nigeria could not compare with Johannesburg, but Lekki, VI, marina, Abuja cbd, asokoro, maitama they can compare with the Sandton areas in Johannesburg the only difference is access to water and electricity, but ultimately no whole city in Nigeria can compare to a whole city in South Africa. 2 Likes |

Now you are grasping at straw in sport, you are unknown. You play unpopular sports. Check athletics world ranking The first 4 pages in the hall of fame of their most popular track event is dominated by South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana in that order https://www.worldathletics.org/world-rankings/100m/men rvp20182: 2 Likes |

Most southern African countries aren't all that at All. A quick look at their cities show most are just deserts. And also they enjoy the luxury of a VERY LOW population so there's less stress to physical infrastructure. Not impressive in any way. 2 Likes

This year alone we were set to host two world events. WRC rally and IAAF U20. These are world events. What can we discuss with Ghana when it come to sports outside football? Even for Hockey - Ghana is nowhere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghana_men%27s_national_field_hockey_team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya_men%27s_national_field_hockey_team Just30: |

rvp2018:good day kid i ain't got time for useless arguments, especially on a Sunday. Wikipedia is not updated regularly , i suggest you go get a real source to quote. Your country basically don't have the infrastructure to any track and field competition. Your sports stadiums look like secondary schools football field in Ghana. 1 Like 1 Share |

I tell you outside football - you don't exist - can't even play rugby football? We beat you in nearly all the rest of discipline netball, volleyball, hockey, swimming, cycling, tennis, boxing, name it. Where kenya struggle - like track and field - we are struggling against WORLD STANDARDS - not African standards. I doubt if Ghana has ever won Olympic gold in anything. Yes I checked zero gold, zero silver, just 1 bronze. What can you tell Kenya? Just on track and field athletes like Julius Yego (Javelin) has won more than all your althetes in 60yrs Silver medal – second place 2016 Rio de Janeiro Javelin throw World Championships Gold medal – first place 2015 Beijing Javelin throw Commonwealth Games Gold medal – first place 2014 Glasgow Javelin throw All-Africa Games Gold medal – first place 2011 Maputo Javelin throw African Championships Gold medal – first place 2012 Porto Novo Javelin throw Gold medal – first place 2014 Marrakech Javelin throw Gold medal – first place 2018 Asaba Javelin throw Bronze medal – third place 2010 Nairobi Javelin throw Swimming - Jason Dunford. During his swimming career he was predominantly a butterfly and freestyle sprinter winning gold medals at the Commonwealth Games, Universiade, All-Africa Games and African Championships, and reaching finals at the Olympics, World Championships and Short Course World Championships. He also held African, Universiade and Olympic records. Just30: 1 Like |
