With rumors linking us with midfielders, I suspect the board and Ole are fed up with Pogba or are trying to sign another world class midfielder just so we aren't dependent on Paul anymore.

Ole even made a statement that suggests he doesn't want a self-centered player amongst his squad.

Van De Beek will make a fantastic addition to our midfield but then, Madrid are looking to replace Modric soon thus I expect them to fight for his signature unless they stick with Odegaard who should be back from his loan spell with Sociedad.

As much as I like Ndidi, I'll take Van De Beek over him. Van De Beek can comfortably play as a CM and an AMF. He fits in as a very good box-2-box CM.

Seeing that we are not too sure of Pogba, I'll rather we sign a ready made replacement even when he is still with us just so clubs don't fleece us when we start scrambling to find a replacing should he leave.

If the option is between Ndidi and Partey, I'll still take Partey over Ndidi, Partey is better with the ball at his feet. In all, the performance of Fred or McTonimay behind Pogba and Bruno will decide whether or not we opt for a new DM...

James is needed for matches that require more counter-attacks, he can stay on as a sub for Sancho / Greenwood.

It’s really amazing how this team might actually have some real squad depth finally.. like subbing Sancho for Greenwood, Bruno for Fred etc. without it being a downgrade.

If a 4-4-2 diamond is used, it limits the team’s strength on the wings, something Ole wouldn’t want from his tactics so far.

Pogba is staying. The club are about to extend his stay. Talks ongoing rn. There's this report i posted here from a reliable journalist [Duncan Castle]. He said Paul wants to stay, but Raiola is the problem. Madrid, and Juve have resigned from signing him cos of the huge price tag Utd slapped on him. Ole needs more bodies in the team. We've not replaced Herrera yet. Beek's signing will be and additional squad depth or Kai Havertz's. We'll be loosing Mata and Lingard soon.

Partey is staying with Athletico Madrid. He's about to sign an extension. As for Grealish, Aston Villa needs £80 Million thats why Utd have changed course to Beek's is cheaper. ... £49 million
