Well, for those who wait years before saying anything, how many accused have gone to jail? Pastor Fatoyinbo is NEVER gonna go to jail for rape. He and others would evade justice and the victim would be scarred for life. False accusations no dey harm anyone. Encourage victims to speak out early, it helps to put these beasts behind jail for good

Yes you're correct sadly. Reporting to the authorities right away is the best cause of action. But in reality, I have realized that far too many women keep mute because of the stigma. Today's technology helps. Forensic science, DNA analysis all helps

Why not address stigmatization that rape victims go through first. Ordinary corona virus, people cannot reveal their identity because of stigma attached to it.

Stigmatization will never go away, it's just like saying people should feel no shame for bed wetting, smelling and so on. The point this man made that made the most sense is that by keeping quiet, the rapist could be raping other victims and this is very dangerous. Those victims could have been saved if someone just spoke up in time. Not all hereos wear cape, someone that was rape would be thinking of themselves and they have every right to think that way but as humans if we start thinking of others and see the bigger picture, a lot of messed up things in life would gradually reduce but what do I know, easier said than done
