Or is it just me?

So it turns out the mifi that's served me all these years has kicked the bucket.

Could anyone recommend a universal mifi replacement?

Or if there's any for sale at a decent price and condition, even better.

Here is a video I made on how to get ntel working on Xiaomi devices on any miui version. Unlike the other method I saw on this thread, this works whether your sim is on sim 1 or 2, or even if it's the only sim in the phone.

First of all, select ntel as the data sim and input ntel APN, now you just need to get to the *#*#4636#*#* screen, then enter the 'Phone information' of your ntel sim.
Now switch on Airplane mode.

If the network mode is on LTE Only, switch it to any other network mode.

But if it is already on any other network mode aside LTE Only, just disable Airplane mode, and quickly switch it to LTE Only before the ntel signal appears. The network signal will be stable. That is the trick.

But if you don't quickly select LTE Only before network signal pop up, it will disappear.

Basically, unlike other methods, this only takes 5-10 seconds to get it working.

I use pixel 2, you have to set to LTE only, add Swift APN. If you are in areas with poor coverage.

In my office it connects automatically.

Same thing happened to me. I subscribed thinking it was truly "unlimited" as advertised by ntel only to be greeted with a shocking notification "you've exhausted your data". Still a mystery how I somehow depleted 10gb in less than 7 hours giving how poor the speed was. Ntel has completed lost it. They've gone to the dogs.
