Truth is heading to either Greece or remaining in Turkey is a step down from Ligue 1. But in any case, I hope he bags a move at least to get away from the hold of Monaco over his career as they clearly don't want him.
Time will tell where Henry eventually end up. Wishing him well. Really tired of seeing the lad tossed from here to there by his parent club.

Looking back, if only he had not moved to Monaco and remained with Gala, he wouldn't be here. But that's football life. One decision can make or ruin some or all of it all.

the loan deal doesn't have a buy option though, which could mean Monaco could still take a second look at him

What is the point of this your argument?

You use 'We' when talking about the Super Eagles, but how many of their games have you gone for, even when it's in your backyard?

Is fandom by buying tickets and going to games? Someone is supporting a team from Nigeria, and you are asking if he has season tickets, does he live in England? How will he have season tickets?

The way you try to demean people sometimes, in your quest for whatever, is very disgusting.

He has as much right as anyone else to use WE for a team he supports. If Liverpool comes down to Nigeria and he has an opportunity to watch them, you think he won't? You think people in Nigeria that buy these club jerseys and spend their money to watch the games of these clubs do not have the right to use WE, when referring to clubs they support? Don't clubs make money from TV rights? Who do you think pays for these rights? Fans with season tickets?

What exactly are you getting at, by trying to ridicule his use of the term?
always on point

Eze is a top-six Premier League player’ – QPR manager Warburton
Taiye Taiwo

The Nigerian descent is one of the outstanding players at Loftus Road this season and he has been backed to be a good fit in the English top-flight
QPR manager Mark Warburton has lauded Eberechi Eze for his consistent performances in the Championship this season.

The 21-year-old has been a key player for Rangers this campaign with his contribution of 12 goals and eight assists in 37 league appearances.

Earlier this year, QPR’s director of football, Les Ferdinand revealed transfer offers were rejected in January for the playmaker, who is set to enter the final year of his contract at the club.

Meanwhile, Warburton has singled out Eze’s enthusiasm for praise and he thinks he can play for the best teams in the Premier League.

"I'm loathe, normally, to talk about individual players but he's a young guy that I knew about going into the job but I've been very impressed,” Warburton told Sky Sports.

“There's been a lot of media focus, quite rightly, for his performances - he's dealt with that really well.

"Last year he had a really hot streak and then tailed off quite significantly. That played on his mind; he knew about that. Again, he's responded this year and he's maintained a level of consistency home and away.

"I honestly believe that he's a top-six Premier League player, all day long. I've watched how he is before games - he just can't wait to go and play.

"He's relaxed, he's looking forward to it. You watch players who are a bag of nerves before games but not Ebs.

"He looks forward to it, responds well to a mistake, he responds well to criticism for a young guy. He gets it."

The Anglo-Nigerian will be looking to help 13th-place QPR end the 2019-20 campaign on a good note when the Championship resumes on June 20.

On his international future, Eze is yet to decide on either to play for England or Nigeria at the senior level.

The London-born player has played for England's U20 and U21 teams, but he remains a target for the three-time African champions having trained with the Super Eagles in March 2017.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has held meetings with the 21-year-old and his family, with NFF president Amaju Pinnick hopeful of having him play for the West African country.

All of the teams in the NPFL are failed projects except for Enyimba (thanks to former governor of abia state, Kalu Orji) he took them outside the shores of the country and dorminated twice, till this day he still wears their sports gears. The teams should focus on renovating their stadiums and there should be other sports companies other than supersports because they ruin the game with their coverage and their wack commentators. Finally, there is a lot to do, and imo this private league is a welcome development.

I wish the clubs in this private league would buy some of these NPFL clubs instead and reach some sort of agreement with the LMC, but I know the LMC + Nigerian factor will frustrate them eventually. Some "stakeholders" will probably disagree.

Success to miss Watford’s premier league clash with Leicester
Moses Ojewunmi 0 June 8, 2020 12:06 pm

Super Eagles of Nigeria and Watford star, Isaac Success could miss the restart of the Premier League campaign with his Club Watford after undergoing surgery.
Watford announced that the former Golden Eaglets striker had minor surgery on his hamstring and could miss the game against Leicester City.
Success has struggled to break into the Nigel Pearson’s starting line up and hasn’t played for the Club since February.

“The forward (Success) had surgery on a hamstring injury, and has been working in the gym as he regains fitness, the 24 years old Nigerian hasn’t featured since early February and could miss out against the Foxes.” Watford said in a statement released on their official website.

Other players who are also expected to miss that game are Adrian Mariappa, Gerard Deulofeu, Daryl Janmaat and Jose Holebas.

You are forgetting Osimhen came into prominence playing in a similar pattern in Amunike's U17 which was a Van Gaal-style domination of possession system where Osimhen excelled flawlessly.

I have no doubt Osimhen will do even better in such systems if given a shot. Remember also Siasia plays a passing style system and when he gave Osimhen a shot, the young man delivered effortlessly.

My goodness you are using U17 youth football as basis for technical competence.

That's very ill advised and very far from being objective.

Good you have brought in the Mikel angle.

Oruma/Obodo were supposed to be replacements for Okocha but they were not just cutting it like expected because they didn't have the qualities close to those of Okocha so we had to rely on Okocha a little longer. But Jay-Jay could not play for ever and that was when God blessed us with a young Mikel. I remember his first game was against Zimbabwe in our 3rd group game at the 2006 AFCON. Less than 5mins after being introduced, Mikel scored on his debute and that was when we knew Okocha's replica had arrived so we had to accept in our hearts that it was time to let go of him. 2 years earlier at the 2004 AFCON Okocha had a stand up performance and so even during the 2006 WCQ which were played in 2004-05 he was a player we really relied on especially as Oruma, Obodo and Obiorah were not measuring up as expected.

Now to Kanu, Yes just like Jay-Jay, he had his best days before 2006 but from 2006 - 2010 he still had major impacts in the team even as we hardly had a player that could fit into his shoes due to his versatility.

Do you recall that Kanu's last game for Nigeria, which was the 3rd place game of the 2010 AFCON, Kanu Nwankwo played the CM role. And we were like..as if he just thought the CM players how to do their job.

Egbon, this particular issue about the later years of Kanu and Okocha was very much an argument back then. To some fans they were "Old tired legs" that must give way for young players. But some of us saw that the team needed the experiences of such players in the team for a smooth transition. And it was not as if we had numerous top rated young players then.
Young players of that time (2006 - 2010) that were pushing for starting places in the SE:
Taye Taiwo (Capped in 2005)
Mikel Obi (Capped in 2006)
Chinedu Ogbuke-Obasi (Capped in 2006)
Victor Anichebe(Capped in 2008)
Obinna Nsofor (Capped in 2007)
Other up coming players then:
Brown Ideye
Sani Keita
Isaac Promise
Odion Ighalo
And then the defensive crop of (all of which later made the national team):
Efe Ambrose
Onyekachi Apam
Dele Adeleye
Adefemi Olubayo
Chibuzor Okonkwo

As at that 2006-10 there were hardly any upcoming players that were major threats to the SE forwardd then. It was just Nsofor and Obasi and you and I know they were at that time not in the class of Yakubu, Martins, Utaka, Kanu, Osaze and Ike Uche.

I would disagree very strongly with regards to your comparison between Oruma and Okocha they were in direct competition.

However, that competition brought animosity of you are familiar with Nigeria football you will know about rancour it created.

In my view Okocha particularly early on was very wasteful in show boating and playing to the gallery and not the team.

Oruma on the other hand did not have the frills bur on occasion was more effective but we never got to see it consistently because the team tactics could not accommodate them both playing at the same time.

Transfer fee will possibly exceed €90 that means only the best can get him who have very deep pockets.
