A drama! I think what I loved most about this was the fact that it was an ordinary drama with ordinary stories and ordinary characters done in an extraordinary way. And can I just say a medical drama where the focus isn't hospital politics, God bless you writernim

LOL they really tricked us in the beginning, you know Kim kap soo mostly acts horrible characters so we were ready to believe the worst

There's no storyline but there's some sort of symbolism I'm not sure about, people say it signifies a party, me thinks it signifies voyeurism and threesomes, any its just what I think, I'm not sure

Fun fact : tvxq's humanoids played in this drama and I suddenly realized all main leads have some sort of relationship with tvxq, hsh acted a movie with the guys, jyh acted a drama with jae joong and they are currently close friends, mina was the female lead in a tvxq mv so I am dedicating this drama to all tv5q fans aka me and minse lol

A lady (hsh) is standing looking sad in a house, movers are packing all the furniture and appliances into a truck. An old woman (her mom) is with her talking on the phone, she's telling the person that she's taking hakyung with her (hsh is hakyung), she also says since hakyung brought all the furniture to the house, she'll take them too. The person on the phone asks "why, mother in law?" (me: oh I guess hakyung is leaving her husband) the mom screams "who is your mother in law?". Hakyung asks her mom to stop. The mom continues telling hakyung's husband that this is for the best since they haven't even registered their marriage, she tells him to never call her again and to never see hakyung. The husband is begging but the mom calls him a loser and ends the call. A mover asks hakyung if he should pack the wedding picture, she says he should leave it, she takes the picture from the wall it's her and jyh on their wedding day, her mom collects it from her and says she should burn every evidence of the marriage, she spits at the empty house (me: Ewww) and leaves. Hakyung removes her ring, leaves it on the table and also leaves.

5 years later, on TV they're doing a feature story on wedding planners, Chae Hakyung is being interviewed, apparently she's one of the most famous wedding planners in Seoul, they ask why she decided to become a wedding planner, she laughs and says it's a secret, they say they learnt she's single (me: what has that got to do with anything), she says yes, they ask how she'll plan her wedding, she laughs nervously and says she hasn't had time to think about it.

She arrives at her home and her younger sister is there with her baby using the washing machine (lmao I'm pretty sure I can do shi!t like taking my laundry to someone else's house), the sister asks her if it's ok for her to lie on TV that she's single, what if her ex husband watches? Hakyung says what ex husband? The sister stays well you must feel life is unfair, getting divorced after only 3 weeks of marriage (me: heol!), I think you rushed into the divorce. Hakyung says I fought with that scrooge the whole honeymoon, I asked him to buy me a mango that was less than 1 dollar, he bought 1 and wanted to share, he bought an 80 dollar honey set for his mom, are we Winnie the pooh's relations eating honey all the time (me: Omo). The sister is staring at her weird, she asks why she's looking at her, the sister says you remember the past so well, hakyung says because I hold a grudge so deep, if I had money then, I would have hired a hit man. On the table there's a big wedding photo album and video of hakyung's wedding, she asks her sister why she brought it, the sister says her son is growing and his clothes are everywhere, there's no space in her house. She asks why she has not got rid of her wedding furniture, does she still have feelings for her ex husband? Hakyung says stop calling him my ex husband. The sister says seo in jae was good looking, my husband doesn't flush the toilet for me to see (Eww, aigoo she thinks that's cute).

At work, her boss compliments her for doing a good job with her interview and tells her their opening another branch in sichon and she'll like hakyung to head the place, hakyung is very happy, the boss tells her that the daughter of their Japanese investor is getting married to a Korean man and if she handles the wedding well, she can be the manager of the sichon branch, she gives her a file of the intending bride, it's mina.

Mina is driving listening to tvxq's humanoids, she parks in front of a Cafe and in the process, hits another parked car and damages a headlight, the owner of the car isn't there so she writes her phone number on the windscreen with a lipstick (aigoo). In the Cafe, hakyung is practicing how to introduce herself in Japanese. Mina goes in and introduces herself in Korean and she's quite good at it, she apologizes for coming late and says she had an accident on the way. Hakyung is worried and asks if she's injured, mina says it was just a slight bump while parking and she left her number cos she heard that's the Korean way. Hakyung says you did the right thing, don't worry they'll call you first. They are discussing the wedding lol and mina is a delightful mess while hakyung is reasonable, mina wants an outdoor wedding during winter, when hakyung told her it might snow, my girl said it would be romantic having snow congratulate her on her wedding (aigoo)

They end their meeting and go out, hakyung sees that her headlight is damaged and is pissed, mina comes to her and says she didn't even know the car belonged to hakyung eotteokhe, lol cos she's a special client, hakyung fake smiles and says there's no problem, she plans to change the car (aigoo), mina says "really? Thank God, then change the car already, the color's so lame, like some old matron's" (me:lmao rude child) hakyung is angry but covers up with fake laughter.

They go ring shopping, hakyung wants mina to get a simple ring to save money but mina says marriage is once in a lifetime so she'll get the biggest most expensive rock, 46 million won (Dayummm!). Hakyung flashes back to 5 years ago, she and seo in jae ring shopping, seo in jae is screaming about how expensive a 1 carat gold band costs (me: dude really? 1 carat), hakyung asks for the last price and he returns the ring to the sales person and says they aren't buying, they only came to research for designs. Hakyung is embarrassed and drags him out, she tells him he's embarrassing her and asks why he humiliates her? He says it's not humiliation, that the ring is over their budget, she says she wasn't going to buy it, she just wanted to look so she could go buy an imitation at jongno. He says then why ask for the price, she says she was just curious, she starts nagging about how he never supports her.

They are at a restaurant and she's still complaining about how he doesn't like to spend money on her, he says it's like she's negotiating with him, she says so what? He says marriage is not a business, marriage is a.... She cuts in and says if marriage is a business, you're a fraud, I gave you 5,000 dollars worth wedding gift, but you gave me nothing (me:*sigh*) my mom bought a mink coat for your mom and a watch and suit for you, I never got my share, so I bought all my cosmetics, shoes and bags with my money, it's not fair. He says I told you I'd give you that share. She says when? Your mother told me my luggage and wedding gift is absurd for your 400,000 dollar house, what does that mean? (me: please why did these 2 even get married?) he says why bring up my mother? She says oh is that why your mom pretended she didn't know about my wedding gift? And a 400,000 dollar house? I won't complain if it were true, 200,000 is a loan.. He says it's 180,000. She says so the house is 220,000, who pays back the loan? He says us, it's our house. She goes "our house? It's under your name and you say our house?" (me:*sigh*) he says my parents bought it, she says it's your money when you buy it and ours for paying it back? What a strange way of calculating. All dude can do is sigh, he leaves the restaurant in annoyance and asks her to pay for their food.

Back to the present day, mina is trying on wedding gowns. She tells hakyung that her fiance is on his way (me: heol I hope it's not seo in jae) lol mina calls the classic dress hakyung picked "cheap looking" and says she prefers a sexy wedding gown, lol hakyung is pissed but she has to play nice cos customer is always right. She goes to pick the dress, a guy comes in saying he's here to pick his wedding tuxedo. It's seo in jae (shi!t), lmao hakyung hides, mina runs out screaming oppa, she asks why he's late, he apologizes and says his meeting ran late, hakyung is peeping at them as seo in jae is admiring mina in her gown, she's jealous (awwnnn), she looks at her face in the mirror and she's sad that she looks older than mina (lol I mean obviously mina is like 22 or 23 or whatever), mina starts looking for her and calling "unni", hakyung starts to go to them, she misses her step and falls down (aigoo) EMBARRASSING!

Seo in jae and hakyung are talking outside, he says he knew they'd meet again but he never thought it'd be like this, I'm surprised you work as a wedding planner, she says she's surprised about him, an international marriage to such a young girl. You still go about fooling with young girls? (me: wait was he cheating?) he says things happened that way, what about your previous work, I thought you wouldn't quit? She says it's none of your business, why did you want to see me? We have nothing else to say. He says let someone else take over my wedding, you must feel uneasy. She says what? He says don't worry, I'll make up some story to mina. She says no sir! I'm not uneasy at all. He says don't be stubborn. She says you must feel uneasy, I won't give up planning this wedding, it's very important to me. He says what do you mean? She says your wife to be is our vvip, if I do this right, I get promoted so if you don't mind, don't say anything and let it go, you can just get married and I get a promotion.

It's Christmas day, hakyung makes a lavish dinner for her mom and sister, apparently she's a very good cook cos she went to catering school. Her sister says all hakyung needs is a man, hakyung says she didn't learn to cook for a guy, the sister says if you turn 33 next year, there'll be no more men, lower your standards, hakyung says she can't get any lower, the sister says then dig the ground (lmao). The mom scolds the sister and tells hakyung she's OK and she shouldn't kill her self esteem, there's nothing to be downhearted about cos she was young and a poor judge of men's character, it was a mistake (me: you forgot to add that she was a calculator). Hakyung says he's getting married, the mom and sister are shocked. Lmao the mom starts shouting, it hasn't even been long since you parted (me:nigga it's been 5 years lmao) he's remarrying and you what have you done for 5 years (me:lmao didn't you just say it's ok). The sister says hakyung was waiting for him to call and now she's been burnt(p.s: sister's name is minkyung) minkyung says she thought seo in jae was naive but he turned out to be a backstabber, he followed you around everywhere (me:lmao who's back did he stab if they're divorced, I love this family). The mom says I knew from the beginning, when we took back our furniture he reported it as a burglary even when I told him before hand, he's insane (me:yes he is) hakyung says forget it, once I get him married, I'll get a promotion, I don't care who he marries, minkyung says right, don't let it get to you, she tells hakyung hwaiting and leaves. The mom asks hakyung how seo in jae was able to meet such a young girl, did you ask him?

The next day hakyung and mina are furniture shopping, she asks mina how she met seo in jae who's 12 years older than she is, mina says age doesn't matter in love and that she quit liking tvxq after meeting seo in jae (lmao), I cried for the first time since tvxq disbanded. Lmao hakyung looks like she wants to smother the girl but she keeps fake smiling. Mina sees a bed for sale, runs to lie in it and squeals about how cute it is, hakyung says it's cute but she should also think about the groom's preference since the bed will be for the 2 of them. Mina says whatever, he won't see it when the lights are off and he'll focus on me when the lights are on (lmao a confident queen), she starts wondering if the bed will fit into his house. She says her dad wanted to buy them an apartment at gangnam but seo in jae refused. Hakyung says the groom is still naive, mina says what? Hakyung says nothing, it's just that it's not common to see a bachelor living in a house that size, she asks mina if he was married before? Mina says yes, he's divorced (me:nice, he told her his past), hakyung is surprised and asks why she's marrying a divorced guy, mina says nobody plans to gets divorced when getting married and that it seems the divorce wasn't his fault, hakyung says really? What did he say about his ex, mina says he says she was an sic, hakyung goes sic? Mina says yes, simple, ignorant and crazy (aigoo), she had a weird personality and was very lavish, the worst. Lol hakyung is pissed but she wants to know more lol, she's like what else? Mina says there's more but she can't remember.

Hakyung is in her office, very angry lol, her assistant (cameo by Kim seulgi) asks what's wrong, she can't answer, some dumb colleague of hers makes some snide comments about her divorce and being unfit for planning weddings. Hakyung receives a call from furniture people they have mina's furniture (her name is minse btw) but they can't reach her on her phone and the door is locked and they have other business to do, hakyung goes to the house (that is her former house when she was married to seo in jae), she tries to call seo in jae (lol his number is saved as jerk) it doesn't go through, she tries minse, she picks, hakyung asks where she is, minse says don't be surprised but I'm on my way to Singapore. lmao truly the girl is on a plane with other fangirls, hakyung is shocked, minse says she's going for tvxq's concert (heol), her friends got her tickets as wedding gift (p.s: if all of you don't give me concert tickets as wedding gift, y'all are dead to me) hakyung says she shouldn't go cos her wedding furniture has been delivered, minse

The house is a messy bachelors pad, clothes everywhere, she starts to fold his clothes sadly (me: *sigh* she still likes him?) she sees an apron and flashes back to 5 years ago, she's making dinner wearing the apron, seo in jae compliments her and asks why she didn't remove her ring, isn't it uncomfortable, she says it's ok no one knows it's an imitation, he says good (me:*sigh* he asked if you're comfortable doing chores with the ring, you're talking about imitation), she says your side got a good dowry, why not buy me a genuine ring, don't buy me a toy ring again (aigoo), he pours a cup of water into their soup, she asks why? he says it's salty (me: mtchewww mumu instead of you to talk you're forming passive aggressive). Another time he and his friends are coming from work drunk, the friends want to taste her cooking since he's always bragging about it, they get to his house but she's on her way going to work at night cos her boss asked her to, the friends tell her it's late, she apologizes and tells her husband to order food for them lol. Another night she has to go to work, seo in jae tells her to quit cos this is getting out of hand she tells him she can't, he asks why she married him, she asks why he married her, he thinks getting her a ring is a waste of money, he says the ring again? She says no, her responsibility is only the wedding, he says he'll do it for her so she'll become a manager, he looks at her glove lol and she says it's more comfortable to cook with it (aigoo), he says it smells good, I'm getting hungry. She asks him why he didn't change the password and says she'll come to rob him again lol, she tells him to change it cos it's her birthday and an invasion of her privacy (me:I hope he's not still in love with her) she tells him dress fitting is in 2 days and minse ought to be around, he asks if it can't be postponed, she says it'll mess with her schedule, he starts to call minse, lol while he's on the phone hakyung keeps trying to remove the ring, she succeeds and the ring rolls under a cabinet, minse asks hakyung to help her test the dress since they're the same size aigoo.

Lol hakyung starts exercising and skipping meals so she'll be thin like minse. Lmao her mom tells everyone hakyung is meeting seo in jae again so no one should set her up on blind dates (me:aigoo what does this woman want), she tells hakyung to try to work things out with seo in jae cos he's still in love with her cos he didn't change his phone number or address (*face-palm*) lol she had even called the guy to say hi.

Lol hakyung wears the wedding dress and they want seo in jae to see it, she says there's no need but the dress shop people say it's a, policy to avoid complaints, they unveil her to seo in jae and my nigga is lost (me:noooo), hakyung has to shout at him before he comes back to earth, they ask his thoughts about the gown, he says she looks nice, she's basically blushing aigoo, she says OK he's seen it, she can go change, he says no, he wants to look at it some more (me:djdozeohocaruchzbfdvj).

They leave the shop, she playfully says he sexually harassed her but she'll forgive him, he says mother in law called lmao she starts coughing, she tells him not to bother and why is he calling her his mother in law, he says I guess you're right. She asks what they talked about, he says they just said hello, he notices her damaged headlight, he asks if she had an accident, she tells him it was minse, he says and you did nothing about it?, he takes her to a mechanic, she's touched and smiling at him and *sigh* falling in love, she's still thinking about how he called her mom, mother in law. OmG she changes his name from jerk to seo in jae eotteokhaji (this is so sweet but so wrong)

He pays for the repairs and she pays him back by offering to buy him groceries,they go grocery shopping and are acting all couple-y *sigh* it's so obvious they have the hots for each other, she asks him what he likes about minse, he says she's cute, lively and innocent in some ways and they hardly fight, she says her dad is a chaebol so he shouldn't make any mistakes like flirting with her.

They go to his house, she tells him she'll wait downstairs for him to bring her trouser she left there, he wants to take the groceries upstairs but the bags are plenty so he asks her to help, they are upstairs arranging the groceries in the fridge, he asks if she's dating anyone, she says no, he says he thought she'd be married well and raising a child, he starts talking about how childish he was then, how he got angry easily and always wanted to win over trivial matters, she says yeah you were selfish, he scoffs and says were you any better. They finish arranging the fridge, she wants to leave, she tells him not to skip dinner, she picks the pj to return to him, the ring falls out, he picks it up, they're both nervous, she says she found it in the closet and she didn't mean to take it, he takes her hand and wears the ring on her finger (me:ehn?), he says it's pretty, she says it's just a fake (me:here we go again *sigh*), she takes her hand away and says I told you, you can't make a mistake, he says I wonder what happened between us, she says why didn't you stop me, he hugs her.

Next morning her phone rings, it's seulgi asking her why she's late to their meeting, she wakes up *sigh* she's in seo in jae's, bed, Yes they did it *double sigh*. She rushes out and sees he and minse's picture all around the house, he comes out dressing, she asks if he's going out, he says yes he's going to the airport to pick minse, Omo the guilty looks on their face. She tells him she has to go to work and runs out, she stylishly waits by the elevator to see if he'll run out to stop her, he doesn't, she says to herself "what do you want from him, do you want him to run out and stop you? It's just a one night stand, don't get shaken, do the wedding and become a branch manager" she leaves the building, she's driving and crying, thinking of how she'll tell seo in jae what happened was a mistake, she is out of her mind, misses a red light and is hit by another car.

Flashback to 5 years ago when she applied for the wedding planner job, apparently she only joined the company cos it was opposite seo in jae's company but his firm changed location after a month.

Present day, Cos she's in the hospital, seulgi is asked to plan the wedding, her family is with her in the hospital, they notice seo in jae's car parked outside, he comes out with flowers, her mom is happy, she takes minkyung and her husband out so they'll have privacy, lmao minkyung even tries to wear makeup for hakyung aigoo, they all think he's come to ask her to get back together, she thinks so too but she says it's just cos she's sick. He comes in, he wants to talk about their night together, she says it was a mistake that should never have happened, he asks if she's sure, she says yes, he says well he's glad she feels that way, she's hurt (me:*sigh* diswan's shakara is too much, what do you really want?). He says even though she can't finish working on their wedding cos of her accident, he talked to MINSE'S father and she will still be made a branch manager. He leaves and hakyung cries.

Seo in jae and minse are having their pre wedding photoshoot, in jae is very uncomfortable, his heart is not there.

Hakyung meets with seulgi for tea, she asks how the planning is going, seulgi says minse suddenly canceled the outdoor wedding and decided on a catholic wedding, the rehearsal is tonight, minse even started attending cathecism and they had to redo the wedding iv's, seulgi says she's so unpredictable.

Hakyung goes to the salon for a makeover (me:Omo does she want to seduce someone). At the church, the reverend father and minse are running late so seulgi and a male colleague are helping seo in jae with the rehearsal, seulgi is the reverend father and the other guy is acting as the bride. Hakyung walks in or limps in as she has crutches from her accident. They are surprised to see her, she tells seulgi and the other guy that the groom's name is printed wrong on the banner, they rush outside, she and seo in jae are alone in the church, she continues the rehearsal, acting as both the bride and the father *sigh* they still like each other, they both tear up as they rehearse, she tells him he makes a handsome groom and he should try to be happy this time cos he can't break a church wedding, he wants to touch her face, she removes his hand and says not any more (me:welp) he says I wasn't confident then, I thought you'd still leave me even if I had stopped you, she says I should have been more patient. Minse runs in screaming oppa, she apologizes for coming late, she says she went to buy the perfect ring for them at jongno, she brings it out, it's a plain simple imitation ring (me:you see life, the broke a** was crying over ring while the chaebol is satisfied with fake rings las Las it's the heart that matters), I can't even describe the look on hakyung and in jae's face, I feel for them sha. Hakyung starts to leave, minse keeps talking about how cheap the rings were but she doesn't mind cos diamonds aren't important, it's the heart that matters, she says she can't sleep whenever she thinks of oppa, she's lonely if he's not in her dreams, she puts his picture on her forehead, she thinks of him when she eats or watches TV, I want the world to know I love you.

Hakyung goes out and lights a candle in front of a statue of Mary, she says thank you for letting me meet him again, she brings out her ring from her pocket and says she came to return it to him but it's hard to do so eotteokhe, it starts to snow, she looks up and smiles.

Flashback to 5 years ago, he goes back to the jewelry store alone and buys a real diamond ring for hakyung. The end.
Me: WAIT! WHAT?!!!! SO SHE'S BEEN WEARING A REAL DIAMOND RING ALL ALONG AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WOWWWW I HATE THIS DRAMA. WHO CUT ONIONS!..

I would rate this 8/10.

WHAT I LIKED
1. I loved the story, I mean I'm sad they didn't end up together but wow, the lessons. I think this is a case of right love at the wrong time, they loved each other but they were stupid and immature and let a good thing go, she was a materialistic nag, he was an insecure mumu with an ego, las Las communication is key, why couldn't he talk to her, tell her he bought her a genuine ring that's why he's broke *sigh* and her reporting everything to her mom, see in marriage ehn, some things are strictly between husband and wife cos third parties will spoil shi!t

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE
1. OK I won't say I hate it cos it's the story but puhleasee, he should have broken up with minse and followed his heart, I mean how are we sure he's ever going to forget hakyung, poor minse might be stuck in a loveless marriage. How are we sure he won't cheat on her again. Oh well lemme just hope he's learnt his lesson and will be a better husband the 2nd time around.
