[quote author=UBblessed15 post=90520529]Good day mamas in the house. This is my first post here I sincerely apologise for the long read. I need your advice,I read on this thread. I have been having a horror long week period of 8 to 10 days(tired of). I don't even know when my ovulation period.

Mama, in all honesty, I think you will need to have it remove. After the successfully removal,am sure all will perfectly be okay.
I used to have heavy bleeding in the past, but after the removal. Everything is now normal.
Although I still can not tell when I ovulate as well. All this best ma

Good day mamas in the house. This is my first post here I sincerely apologise for the long read. I need your advice,I have been ttc since october 2017 there about when my first clocked 2. About the same time I think in november the same year, I had this heavy discharge with lumps of which I later went for a scan in february 2018 as I was scared as it continued and was told it was fibroid. cry that I should remove it. This is what I didn't want to do as I had my first through CS and I m above 40 but I heard there is a way out as I have read on this thread. I have been having a horror long week period of 8 to 10 days(tired of). I don't even know when my ovulation period is again as my cycle is 24 days. I daily take folic acid and vit b only to help me as there is a lot of blood loss monthly. I have been to the hospital earlier this year 2020 and the guy said the same thing that the problem I have is with the location of the fibroid though my stomach is flat. I'm scared to hear surgery as the only option. Pls help a sister.
First, stop taking folic acid (especially the Nigerian kind that's 5mg), they make fibroids grow.
What's the size and location of the fibroids?
Have you done a HSG to see if they're blocking your tubes?

What's the size and location of the fibroids? I didn't know that about folic acid I actually thought it helps to build the blood lost back. Thanks for the info.
I have you done a HSG to see if they're blocking your tubes? I did a pelvic scan...the result reads "[b]There is a submucous uterine myoma measuring 46x43mm",echo pattern is heterogeneous, endometrium is ill defined,no evidence of salpingitis,no adnexa masses seen, pouch of douglas is normal

My dear if the fibroid is really disturbing, why not remove it. Truth is that even if you manage to take in with it, it might not be easy even when the baby tries to fight hard you may still end up losing the pregnancy. Since at least two doctors have said you need to remove it, brace up yourself and look for good hospital with good review on fibroid surgery and fertility and go for it. You said you’re already above 40 and I hope you know fertility declines as we age, thus the earlier you tackle that fibroid the better chances for you to take in. I only advise people that have asymptomatic fibroid which the location too will not affect conception to ignore it but once you start having symptoms especially bleeding, surgery is your best cure. May God grant you the grace to make the best decision.

What you need for blood is iron tablets not folic acid.
Submucosal fibroids usually cause heavy bleeds.
Although the size of the fibroid is considered small (less than 5cm) but submucosal uterine myoma might keep you from conceiving as it might distort the uterine lining (which might be the ill defined endometrium comment on the result) but you'd need a HSG to determine if it'd impede pregnancy.

You should seek a second opinion from another doctor and see what they say.

*Im not a proponent of herbal mixtures that claim to shrink fibroids, you don't want to lose a kidney while trying to shrink fibroids*

Thank you for the advice.I will go for a second opinion and do a HGS scan because I m actually tired of it but most importantly I want to take in asap and have at least two more babies...a boy and a girl by God's grace.

Good morning Mama in the house. Please I want to ask if some has finished her ovulation and is in her two weeks to her next period, is it advisable to still be mating with hubby or should stop? Thanks as I await your responses

Then to be very honest with you, from personal experience, since the fibroids is already causing heavy bleeds and distorting your Luteal phase go take it out asap. Cause you'd still need some months to heal before you start trying to conceive and it gets a bit more difficult the older we get.

Try not to limit 'mating' with your hubby to only during ovulation for child making purposes...it turns the process to a chore and you'd both become stressed.
If you feel the need, grab Oga and let him satisfy you....as long as you are not doing acrobatics, the baby is fine.

MummyHalo:
Sometimes, I wish that apart from seeking medical advice and solutions, we could also seek emotional support from one another. Some of us are passing through this phase without any emotional support. I really wish there was something we could do to unburden our hearts.

All will be well momma, soonest ur miracle will come. I was ttc for almost 2years now but God has answered me. I'm currently 9 weeks gone. My advice is that u pray and fast in agreement with hubby. It works. Prayer always works. Also, healthy eating habits. Ensure u take lots of fruits daily. U can also do lemon cleanse, whereby u blend lemon including the back and put i table spoon daily in warm water and drink with hubby. Also pregnant care conception worked for me. U can also visit Grandma's herbs on Instagram. God is really using her. This are the things that worked for me. Baby dust on u. Amen.

The one here is different from the one you posted for me to see. Just got to know it different after paying.
Sorry dear but this one is different. It's from the same company but it doesn't have Inositol/vit b6 like the one I posted.

so I can't use it?
Does it mean 3850 is gone just like that?
To think I spent a thousand naira as transport , annoys the more.
Maybe I will try my luck to return it.

I have called them now. Was told to bring it along with receipt when coming. Have learnt my lesson with this. The guy that attended to me must have been distracted. He kept saying there is nothing like Vic B6 with fat burner ,that I will have to buy each separately. Much thanks to you ma, for the assistance.

Good they are going to change/refund you.
I used to encounter same issues too in my own pharmacy, they always bring this one first and I insist on the other one. He probably doesn't know the composition. 3850 sounds like you bought it in Alpha pharmacy..if so, the other one isn't in the same place as this one..they kept it in the same shelf as vit b6 and folic acid etc...so you'd have to tell them to check there.

I have gotten a replacement. Thanks for the help @ sugah. How do I take the drug, I mean the fat burner. Added 165 naira to the 3850 making total of 4015 per one. So the current price of this very brand is 4015 against the former 3500 they sale before.
