How do you manage to miss the point? You suppose/assume too much. Focus. Let's reason for a change.

How is it not his business if he genuinely cares? Is it his business if she eats poison?

How old is the girl/lady/woman in question?
If she's 18+ the law says she's an adult, if i choose to be a Christian it's my life i'm giving to Christ NOT that of those around me! undecided
As long as the female in question is an adult and i am neither her father literally or spiritually, all i can do is to make her see reasons to become a true Christian, even i mustn't mention what she did wrong until she learns to apply God's word by herself.

Most people don't know the difference between a Pharisee and a Christian.

Pharisee:- people who pester others to obey their rule of conduct.

Christian:- people who teach by examples.

Unbelievers do feels threatened even when you never frown or say anything against their lifestyle, but because you're living an exemplary life and they wants to become your friend it's either they change you or you change them, so after all effort to change you proves abortive the hatred begins.

On the other hand you become a Pharisee when you're feeling cheated at the sight of those not living their lives in harmony with your stringent rules!

If she loves watching porn as an adult, it's nobody's business, she never took an oath to follow the same line of thought with me, that's what most people don't know about Jehovah's Witnesses, once you're not one of our members, you're free to do whatever you like with your life, but you're no more free to do so as a baptised JW, you must live by the rules, each member is his/her brother's/sister's keeper!

It will be easy for comburstion engine cars to stop using air & fuel for comburstion than porn start to stop acting porn.

Are you a Christian?
Well if you think you are, now listen to the teachings of Jesus the one called Christ!

Everyone is free to live their lives anyhow they choose to because each person will answer for his own error! 2Corinthians 5:10; Galatians 6:5
It's when someone is willing to accept Jesus' teaching that such a person could be encouraged to keep living as one whose master is Jesus! Romans 14:4
So far the person in question is an adult, he/she has the right to his/her privacy, therefore it's never my business whatever material she keeps on her phone!

The one and only single reason why i can challenge her on the material is if she's one of those that vowed to live their lives in harmony with God's word, even at that i must speak with her mildly and with deep respect for her as a person having authority to choose whether to continue living as a Christian (obeying the same rule binding us together as believers) or renounce her faith (to become free like all others).

That's why most people are running away from being JWs, because you will be accepted as a member of our global family throughout the earth only if you're living in harmony with our standards! Romans 15:5-6; 1Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:3; Philippians 2:2 smiley

So much noise, little substance. Try making your point without irritating others about JW.

Listen again, i don't think the person in question is Jwickedness. You have explained JW position that you don't care about people who are not baptised JWs. Here's the question again.
1. How is it not his business if he genuinely cares? Remove the JW prison blocking your eyes and answer the question for if he is a normal human being. Or shift.

2. Is it his business if she eats poison?

These are the two questions i asked. Answer them if you can or pass over instead of boring us about the Asleep ways of the JWs.

I disagree with this, you don't know what else to be free doing with a married man rather than watching porn.

Call her privately and advise her or if you are too shy use morning devotion and generalize the issue, don't speak specifically about her, but preach on how pornography is a sinful weapon that can enslave Christians and how God hates it. Teach her the importance of keeping her eyes clean because the eyes is the window to her soul

There's nothing wrong with an adult watching porn. Porn is for adults.

As the same thing as saying there's nothing wrong for an adult to have sex with someone they are not married to, or consult an idol.

The OP mentioned that the girl is a Christian so that matters.

I would like to seek opinion of others on what to do about this issue.

It happened some weeks ago when my wife's sister (younger sister) came to me that she just downloaded a movie (The train) that it will be nice for us to watch it.

So she gave me her phone which I connected to my laptop so as to copy and transfer to my flash drive and later to connect to the TV to have a bigger screen view.

She told me the title of the movie which I searched for and I told her I didn't see it.

Immediately she wasn't feeling comfortable and she came and stood behind me as we searched for the movie together.

So I asked where she downloaded the movie from she told me vidmate so I went to download files under vidmate.
When it opened there were a lot of movies there as a looked for the move I saw some porn movies along the files. I had to focused on the movie we were looking for and pretended as if I didn't see anything, I copied the said movie and pasted it on the desktop. After, she quickly removed the USB cord and took her phone.

What baffled me was that I never expected such thing from her, because I knew her to be a good girl and a lover of Christ. I was disappointed and embarrassed, she felt embarrassed too and she wasn't feeling comfortable throughout that night.

She should have at least deleted those porns before handling over her phone to me.

Why do ladies watch porn? What will she gain watching it because I don't think she engages in sex.

I never mentioned it to anyone and we relates as if nothing happened. We even watched the movie together with my wife the following day.

My concern now is hope I have done the right thing? Or I should have advised her that watching porn is not good?

The bible says anyone who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.

Also there is this quote I saw somewhere the world suffers a lot. Not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people.

Note: She is an adult, just graduated from the university.

Thanks as I await your response.
Pls ask yourself this. If you stand before Jesus today and this issue is raised, what wld you say or do?
Whatever answer you believe you wld give to the Master is your answer. That girl is under your care.

As, a Christian, Nairaland is the worst place to seek for Christian counsel.
Satan lives here. Ask the Holy Spirit if He will tell you that the girl is an adult.

She is an adult to drink whatever she wants, if she attempts to kill herself with poison, wld you keep quiet or come here to ask if you shd intervene?

Christians grow up and stop seeking counsel from unbelievers, unbelievers shd come to you not you to them.

There is nothing to be more concerned about why she approached me. You didn't understand what I wrote. She wanted to give me a movie but she has forgotten she has porn too on her phone or probably didn't occur to her the whole files will open on the laptop. That's why she wasn't feeling comfortable... Image123 got the point.

We relates well or lemme say normally as her sister's husband and she respects me.

We still relates as before... So nothing of such of what you were thinking and asking.
