I provided you with a prove.
Kenya Infrastructure over Ghana and Nigeria? You are a big joker. grin grin

According to the afdb index you shared only Ghana marginally beat Kenya on the composite infrastruxture index. Nigeria, your big uncle was a long way off in every index. The other nations to beat Kenya was Cabo Verde an island nation. Suffice to say that Cape Verde cannot even stand similar east African island nations like Seychelles and Mauritius which are first world class, beating SA in almost every scale minus GDP. On individual infrastructure indices like electricity and transport Kenya actually mopped the floor with you guys. However, other indices that have been shared before from more reputable sources showed Kenya to be unparalled in infrastructure. My observation is that you have a few good stadia in Ghana, some very few nice roads, one airport, one small port, a good healthcare, horrible cities, and Koffi Annan.

Forgive him.Lack of exposure.
The best airport in Africa is that of Senegal. But Singapore has the best airport worldwide. We should aim to match that of singapore

Honestly I was pissed after reading that ..most Airport in Africa are begin to match and surpass those ones in SA ...if we can aim higher and better them we are stucked in deep shiit..
And yes Senegal Airpyis by far the most modern airport on our dear continent...the interior looks as though you are playing a Virtual reality game..

Actually its Senegal, I made a mistake.
But that's to make you know that there will be another country after Ghana before your Kenya..

Yet your big uncle is nowhere to be seen. Senegal only beats Kenya in infrastructure, and I believe it's due to their new airport and railway. They have no ports and roads worth a mention. Dakar is like a province of Nairobi, and it's the only city they have.

there is East Africa as the geography of the continent and East Africa as the trade block. The trade block has 6 members while geographically countries from Eritrea to Madagascar are in East Africa.

Right. The EAC tends to obscure the larger east Africa.

we have the same anthem, passport and court system. We are moving forward in terms of currency and standardizing education, health care and building connecting transport infrastructures.

Absolutely! They need to know because THE EAC is more than a trading block. The closest thing to Dubai Emirates in Africa.

Yes it does

For instance, 1.5 millon Ounces of gold is mined by Ghanaian gold mining companies.

2. All large scale mining companies outsource most of their mining services activities to Ghanaian companies like E&P and others whom they pay 500million dollars to each year for a lot of their mine development activities. Check the numbers of mining companies and you will see how much is going to Ghanaian companies.

3. cost of operation to pull one tonne of gold is 680 dollars. Multiply 680 by 5 million ounces and you will get the amount of money spent in Ghana.

4. All the large gold mines combine makes only 2 billion dollars in profit after tax of which some dont even have whole ownership.

For oil, All of the gas at Tullow fields goes to Ghana at no cost. The ownership structure is such that GNPC owns i think 15 or 20% of their oil production before they gets to pay taxes. Most of their service provision contracts are awarded to Ghanaian companies.

ENI gas field is 30% owned by GNPC and Explorco
Springfield gasfield is wholly owned by the Ghanaian company. (the largest)
Aker Energy field is 10% owned by GNPC which they can increase by the agreement. (It was dropped from 30% to give the company more lead way to explore)
Now go and spin your head.
Mkenya2019:
No it doesn't.

Start with Gold - most of it stays in Anglo Ashanti accounts in London and Newyork. It's not Ghana gov selling gold. It's AngloAshanti selling it

And then paying mining royalties - and taxes - that at best is probably 30% of gold production.

The same with Oil - most of it goes to Tullow and it stays in London

And all you get back is oil royalties and tullow taxes - maybe 500M - per annum to Ghana treasury.

As for employment - you can easily find how large the Tullow Ghana and Anglo Gold Ashanti workforce is - maybe 1000 staff each.

Now look at your cocoa - its brings maybe 2.5B dollars - but employ maybe 300K thousands Ghanian farmers.

Those are the industries that fight poverty.

And better if you go to manufacturing.

Always remember GHANA doesn't export Oil or GOLD - it's Tullow and AngloAshanti who does that - and of course Chinese smugglers.

Ghana earns mining royalties - and whatever Tullow or AngloAshanti wants to pay as taxes!

You are correct.and again..
Ghana don't earn 30% from gold exports! The most they can get is 5%.
In TZ,we have been fighting with barrick gold and we ended p with 16%.What about Ghana which can't raise a voice against those London SE listed companies?

Yes agriculture is more beneficial together with manufacturing and tourism. These are sectors which employs a huge numbers of folks and the benefits are massive. Countries which are progressing on those 3 sectors are usually appear more developed and have a high life standard

i like all of you, your ignorance

Holders of large-scale mining licenses are subject to corporate tax (35%), capital gains tax (15%), withholding tax for foreign residents (15%) and royalties (5%). In 2014 the government extended the applicability of the Capital Gains Tax provisions in the Internal Revenue Act, 2000 (Act 592) to petroleum operations.

Ghana and Ivory Coast together placed a windfall tax on mining.

Too bad Tanzania is a small fish and cant take mining companies on.

here, we tax the shit out of them while ensuring that al their huge contracts goes to Ghanaian companies because that is where the money is.
