Emotional crime??

A man using a part of his body as tool to defile a woman's body against her will is emotional crime?

Yes and it is punishment able by life imprisonment in Nigeria.
Rape is not by a part of man's body or tools alone, fellow female or man can forcefully insert wood, metal rod, hands, fingers etc such is a rape.

Rape is emotional crime which can be laced with assaults and violence. Your husband cannot commit this emotional crime but he can be charged with assaults

F9!

It is one body not her body.
Lol.. cheesy real F9. Kids are everywhere on nairaland, how can someone say a married woman still owns her body and should deny her husband her body. If she is tired, she can only plead with the husband in a gentle and loving manner, promising a better offer later tongue not putting up any feministic attitude. A reasonable husband will understand with his woman when she is not fine. Both the man and woman cannot say No to sex when any of them want it. Only on health ground can anyone say NO to sex in marriage and it will be geniune.

2 Lagos Housemaids Raped Employer’s Daughters With Fingers, Sticks by ijustdey: 8:16am On Jun 10
2 Lagos housemaids defile employer’s daughters with fingers, sticks

Two Lagos housemaids, probably from hell, were docked at the Igbosere Magistrates’ court on Tuesday, charged with defiling their employer’s daughters.

The sexual assault was done with their fingers and wooden sticks, causing their victims severe injuries.

The maids, from Benue state, were identified as Peace Sunday, aged 19 and Bose Augustine aged 18.

Their pleas were not taken, when the case was mentioned in court today.

They were charged with three counts of unlawful and indecent penetration sexually into the virginal and anus of two girls, a two-year-old and a 17 year-old, with fingers and wooden sticks.

The presiding Magistrate in charge of emergency cases at the court, Mrs Doja Ojo, ordered that the accused persons be temporarily remanded at the police station pending the advice from the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution, ( DPP).

The maids were arrested by the Police at the Ilasan Division, Lekki, following the complaints of the parents of the
their two victims.

The Divisional Police Officer, DPO, CSP Onyinye Onwua Meagbu immediately directed her team at the juvenile and women section, led by Inspector Orukoton Lonikola, to investigate the matter.

The investigation led to the charge at Igbosere Magistrates’ Court .

Police Prosecution Counsel, Inspector Peace Chukwudi told the court in charge No C/52Q/2020 that the accused persons committed the offence between 24 and 27 May, 2020 at Lekki Garden Horizon 2 Estate, Lekki, where they work and live with the two complainants.

Chukwudi informed the court that the parents of the victims reported to the Police that they left their daughters aged 2 and 17 in the care of the accused persons and went to work.

Before they returned their maids allegedly defiled their daughters with fingers and wooden stick and in the process inflicted severe injuries on their private parts .

Chwkwudi said that following the report, the Police referred the victims to Mirabel Medical Centre for examination.

The medical report, she said, revealed that the accused persons had defiled the victims several times with fingers and wooden sticks.

She said the offences the accused persons committed were punishable under sections 411 and 261 of the criminal law of Lagos State, 2015.

Magistrate Doja Ojo adjourned the case till 4 July 2020 for the DPP reports.

Why not divorce him if you dont like his approach to sex instead of all these moral stories? You wanna stay married without performing the required duty? You can't eat your cake and have it

Within the context of Nigerian law, a male being raped is not recognized as rape. If your male child were raped would you brush it off just because it isn't recognized by law?

Just because the law doesn’t recognize it, doesn’t mean it technically isn't rape or make it any less terrible

It's obvious you don't know Nigerian laws.
Husband can rape his wife

Husband forcing sex his wife is illicit
hammer3:

Legally u cant be raped by your husband.

If your husband can rape you, y are u married?

Wat any reasonable court of law should uphold is acts of physical or domestic violence, that falls under assault, battery, abh and gbh.

If u come before a court and say your husband hit you and then had sex with you forcefully to say, pining you down, then we can bill him for the above. Not rape!

U cannot tell a court, your husband did not take permission before romancing u and that is rape.

I will throw the case out, it is all about how u present it.

If we can define rape and its without the exception of marriage, then we can actually know if its a crime or not.

Now rape according to dictionary definition in this context of discussion is the act of forcing sexual intercourse on another person without their consent and against their wish. which is regarded a crime.

Now the dictionary did not give any exceptions whatsoever or any conditions under which it is justified. So whether in marriage or outside marriage, forcing yourself on someone without their consent is rape and rape is a crime and it is a punishable offence. Period!

Marital rape...Get out of here with this fuckery! Unless the nigga is punching and banging your head against the wall before penetration or he drugged you, it ain't rape. Just because you're not in the mood does not constitute rape.

Here's a newsflash, where do men go to report marital rape? I mean lots of husbands or boyfriends are not in the mood at times but these women would play with the blokos, twerk etc until man's got no choice. WHERE DO WE REPORT?

If you feel your partner is not attractive enough to have sex with, PLS DIVORCE! If the nigga has to force you before having sex then that's just plain sad and you both need to walk away from the pitiful excuse of a relationship!

You get it man. You deny me of sex with no tangible reason, then we'll divorce.

But what if the woman is not in the mood for sex or tired and the husband forces himself on her by taking it by force, is it not marital rape?

Yes it's rape, we know, but going to report to police or other agencies is what I don't understand.

Imagine the scenario you walk into any Nigeria police station and you start telling the officer in charge, I was not in the mood, was weak and tired yet my husband had sex with me. The officer will first ask you, what happened to your mood?

By Nigerian constitution it is not rape. You guys should learn to read the constitution. You cannot report or accuse your legally married husband of rape.

This days due to civilization many people cannot differentiate rape from disagreed sex

if a man is accused of raping his wife what Will then be the punishment
2 years jail term or castration
in the end the woman will suffer for whatever actions she takes
so there is nothing like marital rape

A HUSBAND can NEVER Rape his WIFE.
We are talking about his wife!
Same way a Wife can NEVER Rape her Husband.

We do not use dictionary to govern Nations, it is Constitution.
According to Nigeria Constitution, husband cannot rape his wife, however in the case of forcefully sex between duo, if there is enough evidence of violence on the female from his husband, such husband can be charged for assault. Until this Constitution provisiona are repel, they are the fact we will follow.

All these Lagos Abuja people that don't go home.

In some part of anambra to be specific, your wife can divorce you traditionally because of constant marital rape. It's frowned upon. The ùmùada will descend on you if they knew u rape your wife.

Yes, if a man constantly complain that her husband forces himself on her and after several warnings by the elders, if the wife want to end that marriage, nobody can stop her. She has the sole right to end it.

The law is fluid and dynamic.

It is constantly changing alongside wat is deemed acceptable in our society.

Rape, even in the most developed couuntries is the exclusive reserve of female and many assume male cannot be raped.

That is where the alternate non fatal offences apply, as i mentioned earlier.

Thus, the person that harms a male child will still be going to prison for a very long time, if they have a good lawyer.

When a woman starves her husband of sex to the point he can't take it any more and chooses to get it some where else, she cries CHEATING. If he is not the type to go out with another woman and decides to take it forcefully, she cries RAPE. When the man gets tired of begging is wife for sex and takes his mind off sex with his wife, she cries EMOTIONAL ABUSE. Just like the westerners who hardly gets married but have partners, Nigerian men are heading in that direction where marriage will no longer be a thing. Partnership will then be the order of the day. Where sex will no longer be used as a leverage over the men since they can get it else where without fear of devorce.
Young women, if you are not ready to confront the issues that comes with marriage, then please don't get married.
Young men who are also not ready to be responsible husbands, please remain single
It's so u fortunate that young adults of our generation don't know what being married entails. They rush into it blindly only to run To social media to complain

Say no to rape. In what ever form it presents itself.
I pray God help us
