you really expect Rohr to start Osimhen ahead of Ighalo?
It is not debatable. Osimhen is clearly the better of the two. You seems to forget how Ighalo was often criticized for his bad performance during the past two years. If Ighalo starts ahead of Osimhen, then favoritism and sentiment is at play.

clearly better how? What SE player has not been criticised before abi you think rohr uses the criticism to decide which players should play and who shouldn't

Ighalo is doing well for his club and he was doing well for SE before he retired and if there was favouritism and sentiment at play it is on your part

Somebody finished highest goal scorer in Afcon less than 6 months ago or so and you're saying if he starts ahead of Osimhen it is favoritism lmao

Onyekuru played one of his worst games for Galatasaray yesterday. His biggest problem is he tends to disappear in games.

Four Nigeria-Eligible Players Feature As Chelsea Thrash Queens Park Rangers In Friendly

Chelsea thrashed Queens Park Rangers 7-1 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, with four players of Nigerian descent involved for their respective teams, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Queens Park Rangers trio Bright Osayi-Samuel, Eberechi Eze and Luke Amos, and Chelsea's teenage prodigy Faustino Anjorin were given minutes in the friendly.

Frank Lampard's team led 4-1 at the break with Mason Mount, Willian, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Olivier Giroud getting on the scoresheet.

In the second half, Loftus-Cheek grabbed his brace and two goals from Billy Gilmour helped Chelsea register a comprehensive win ahead of their trip to Aston Villa on Sunday, June 21.

It is looking likely that Amos's loan spell at Queens Park Rangers will be extended beyond the end of this month as he has been part of preparations and featured in last Wednesday's friendly against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee, whose international future has been the subject of debate in recent days, was a key player for QPR before football was halted in March, starting 19 games in the Championship.

Mainz Manager Gives An Update On Taiwo Awoniyi Following His Nasty Collision

The former U-20 star was rushed to the hospital after a nasty collision in Mainz Bundesliga clash against Augsburg at the Opel Arena on Sunday afternoon

Mainz manager, Achim Beierlorzer, has confirmed that Taiwo Awoniyi suffered a severe concussion in the team’s 1-0 loss to Augsburg, but the Nigerian is now stable.

Awoniyi was handed his fourth consecutive start in the Bundesliga on Sunday, but he only lasted for twenty minutes as he had to be rushed to the hospital following a dangerous collision.

There were fears concerning his health, but Die Nullfünfer manager has now allayed those fears, saying Awoniyi is fine, although he had a concussion.
Speaking after the game, which saw Mainz lose at home, Beirlorzer confirmed the concussion was serious, but the former Golden Eaglets star is now stable and can remember everything.

“Taiwo is conscious and responsive. He has suffered a severe concussion but can remember everything,” Bierlorzer said.  The 22-year-old also confirmed is he’s doing fine as he was seen smiling in a video call after the injury.

It’s a relief for Awoniyi who is starting to make some progress at Mainz after a difficult start to the season. The former Gent star joined Mainz on loan from Liverpool last summer, but he struggled for game time with just six appearances before the league was suspended.

However, he’s enjoyed some sort of renaissance since the league resumed, which has led to reports that Mainz are considering signing him permanently.

lolz. .ighalo was doing well for SE yet he kept receiving threats from the fans then. Yea, he won the AFCON boot and i am not taking that away from him but you, wanting to bench victor if Ighalo is recalled is just somehow and laughable. As at now, victor should be our fist choice. We should move on already.

Zambian striker, Patson Daka has scored 23 league goals in 16 starts(25 apps in all) for RB Salzburg. He is just 21.
Hope he gets the same recognition Haaland got.

Ighalo is not flopping also and wether you like it or not he is a legend in SE, even Osimhen admitted that his starting is not guaranteed if ighalo comes back

he is always welcome, he contributed a lot for the National team and even at the Afcon in 2019, whether I am playing or I’m on the bench, watching him from the side will also help me learn a lot from him. I have no problem with it at all,” Osimhen told ojbsport.com
