Except this site has no way of hiding NSFW content unless you choose to see it. you can do that on whatsapp and Discord instead, or create another group for it. Some people are browsing nairaland in their workplace so consideration should be given.

But there is no way to know whether or not the poster was aware of some people's preferences before posting. The rules I read spoke against posting pornography which he hasn't. And before this issue was raised, most of us were under the impression that we could post ANYTHING anime-related here. At the very least, after today, we should have reached a compromise on this issue.

Common courtesy is to leave at least one level obfuscation between the main page and NSFW content, such as linking to another page or creating your own thread so that people get a fair warning before stumbling upon giant pictures of loli hentai in public.
