There was mild commotion this morning at Ojota, Lagos, as a lady plunged down the pedestrian bridge in an apparent attempt to commit suicide.

According to Priscimedia, the initial attempts by passersby to stop her from jumping proved abortive as she freed herself from the grip of a man holding her back.

It was gathered that the Lagos Neighbourhood officers later helped her to a safe place to avoid been hit by oncoming vehicles. The DPO Alausa Police Station later came to the scene to take the lady away.

Gosh! People are going through so much. The world is pretty messed up. Please no one should hurl insults at her. If you have never felt hopeless before, you wouldn't understand why she made that attempt. It's not really easy to hold off those thoughts, believe me. The best you can do is learn how to treat people like they matter, even those you're not close to.

There are people going through worse than her but if you see them you might not know. Your problem is not the biggest in the world,it's just the way you think that's making you frustrated. Be positive, things will change one day,if not in your own generation,it will be your children's

The lady was probably frustrated.

Maybe she was financially destitute or she was jilted by her lover.
