They don't have to interview him. Pilots communicate with traffic control on their speed, altitude and other flight parameters. Black box records these data. Investigations have revealed that the pilot made mistakes

every registered aircraft has what is called flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder inside a small book called Black box, somwere In the aircraft...

The flight data recorder, records everything single thing you do, in a graph like or other ways, and records everything the plane does in a graph like stafe.

While the cockpit voice recorder records every sound that is made within the proximity of the cockpit.

So putting everything together you can tell what the pilot did, at what time, and at what state of mind.

Clear case of spatial disorientation marred by terrain wake turbulence like I predicted and that explains the full power the helicopter was on before impact , the pilot was trying to climb as fast as he could while being caught in the downward draft of the terrain wake turbulence..Only a very experienced pilot that has trained for this will pull out of this ...The best move would have been to allow defend into the wake draft and bank out sharply from the perceptive direction of where the terrain was ,risky move but seems like the only chance

Such a ridiculous report.How can a pilot push down a collective control to climb instead of pulling it up to effectively change the pitch angle of the rotor blades.Thats very unheard of unless they are saying there is malfunctioning in the connections between the swash plates and the vertical pitch links.Very bizarre knowing that a legend is gone.

At a point during take off in an airplane, it's difficult to say if the aircraft is ascending or descending. You get a sinking feeling making it seem the aircraft is falling off the sky when in fact it's ascending. Pilots also loose orientation often at this stage.
