You seem don't understand the way life transcends. In a lay man, let me explain.

In life, you will definitely face ups and downs. The downs are our struggle days. We just want to be up at all times. It ain't possible.

Some folks can handle that period very well, that's where courage and hope comes in while others don't. Those with courage will not admit they have been depressed because they were able to manovouer very fast. The fact still remains, lots of thought have gone into getting the way forward. Probably, they found someone early enough to counsel. The little period is a depressed state.

Those who couldn't manipulate or survive that period get down more depressed. That is why we advice, when you start facing the 'downs', the forward is the best rather than contemplating in the past. Just move on and believe it's life and you definitely must start over or accept fate to move on.

While trying not to derail the thread, a social worker and a psychologist do not share the same job descriptions nor training as they are of different fields but work alongside each other because I am one.

For a more effective treatment of mental health issues, we apply the biopsychosocial model which involves the Psychiatrist, the Psychologist and the Social worker.

Lol Me too oh,the time I could say I was ever depressed was between the time I finished Nysc and I got a job. In the morning when I see people dressing up for work and I had nothing doing,damn it hurts, I hope I never have to feel that way again.
