Tinubu is not greater than Awolowo and Abiola, he can never ever be president of Nigeria. His fate will be worse than that of Awo and Abiola. Yoruba people will still betray him, no be today yansh de back

Pawn? you mean Don? Like it or not (and i don't) Tinubu is the smartest political actor in Nigeria today, he is the don of dons and he will emerge intact. Tinubu does not embark in a battle he cannot win. He is the only political puppetmester be it PDP APC, that has remained untoppled in 21 years of our democracy. All the others are weakened or irrelevant. All those who try to emulate him always shoot themselves in the foot because they try to become Godfathers by bullying. Oshiomole will eventually go the way of Amosun, Tinubu will be stronger. What all these wanna be godfathers all fail to realise is that you cannot win all battles and sometimes you must allow your enemy to have his day in order for you to triumph tommorow. People forget that Tinubu allowed Fashola 2nd term even when they fell out and only went after Ambode because the faithfull wanted him out.

Tinubu picks his battles and strikes only when he cant lose!! Thats why he is the Godfather of all Godfathers!!!

If Tinubu is behind you, you will always win even if you appear to lose initially.

This must be one of the kids born in the late 90s (1998 downwards).

You need to go ask your elders who MKO was in his heydays in Nigeria, and how many coups he sponsored for the Northern Khaki boys, his appeal nationwide, and how no one could stand shoulder to shoulder with him to challenge the status quo.

When they are done explaining the above to you, kindly ask them what later happened to MKO and how he ended up at the hands of his one time comerades at coup plotting.

Awo is a better man than Tinubu. Tinubu does not even come close but Awo never had the political guile of Tinubu. Unfortunately Awo who in My humble opinion was the greatest black African of the 20th century will never get his recognition because he never became president and was never able to implement his ideas and vision nationally and gain international recognition. Not to diminish Mandela but his recognition was based mainly on staying in a relatively comfortable jail for 27 years.

Awo was a visionary leader, Tinubu is a political Grandmaster. If you want to strategise politically you get Tinubu, if you want to develop a nation you get Awo.

Initially, I thought it was only Nasir "Aubameyang" El-rufai that would put a nail on the coffin of Asiwaju "David Luiz" Tinubu political career, but surprisingly, we now have a deadly finisher in the person of Godwin "Lewandoski" Obaseki...

This is good for our democracy as it has signal the end of a useless manager like Adams "Sarri" Oshiomhole.

The same way Wike has determined to finish the ambition of your brother Peter Obi of China come 2023. Wike has vowed to claim VP slot of PDP being the major financier of the party. Then your lamentations will continue unabated

You are the one who is obviously a novice and uninformed. Abiola was never really a political Godfather, Abiola was a moneybags who was allowed to make money and make noise because he was the purse of the military boys and financier of the establishment party NPN with monies diverted to him through govt contracts. Maybe you forget that as early as 1982 Abiola was told by his party NPN that the presidency is not for sale to the highest bidder.

Maybe your problem is English...Abiola was never a political Godfather per se, if anything he was a beneficiary of Godfathers, primarily people like Shehu Musa yaradua. In any event your post does not negate what I said, Tinubu is the only Political Godfather that has remained at the top for as long as he has. Abiola got carried away with his money and forgot where his real power came from. Tinubu is not such a fool!!!

not funny .........fact! Umaru Dikko was the godfather in the Shagari regime and told Abiola point blank "the presidency is not for sale" this led Abiola to eventually quit NPN the party he financed in 1983. it is the same reason the other political base (Army) allowed him to contest an election knowing they were never going to allow him become president. What was IBB's excuse...he said the Army dont want him..werent all these Army men not his people, were they not the same people that made him rich? if Abiola had political power why didnt he become president in the freest election ever contested in Nigeri's history?

Saying Abiola had political power is like saying Dangote or otedola have political power, or like saying all these Igbos businessmen have political power the day they decide to go against the powers that be they will see what will happen to their businesses. It's like Putin and the Oligarchs and we know what happened there.

baba , u spill the bitter truth about TINUBU..

I love godfatherism only because of his style of smart play. he chooses his fight...

below is his word and why he ll last in this game..

I look for talents that are better than me. I'm not afraid to bring on board people with higher wisdom because the most important thing to me is to get the job done for the betterment of all. I don't wait till zero hour to discover the next person to do the job or the next job to be done, from the first hour, I find them. The second, third and forth are as important as the first.
Time waits for nobody. Even the obstacles on my way, I predict them before those that will bring them will start to think about them, I plan for betrayal, I plan for backstabbing, I also plan for reunion and forgiveness long before they happen.
In life, I expect nothing, I expect anything, I expect everything..."
- Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Anybody that thinks Tinubu didn't take side with Oshiomole in the saga must be deceiving himself, but as the case is right away, Edo is already out of their grip. Our politicians should start learning their lessons.
