Having a Nigerian strain of the virus at this time when there is no known drug for the treatment may not be too good for us. God please help us, we cannot combine this with the loads of problems this country is faced with. |

This is to be expected. More strains may yet appear. Hopefully the less lethal one will dominate. Mutation doesn't have to mean causing more sever disease BUT it just might happen so as it often does. Key is to quickly study and project how susceptible the different strains are or will be to various vaccines and therapeutics as we develop them. Do we give combined vaccines for all known strains to people worldwide or we just give a vaccine specific for the strain prevalent in a particular region? |

SirWarlock: Shey I said it here earlier... That these people will soon come up with another angle or gist to further their 'Activity'!!! How so predictable!!!... That was how a close associate told me a scientist here said the Corona here is not actually airborne but solely spread via contact or touch!!! Their mates abroad are talking about treatments and vaccines, they are busy trying to justify NCDC's cluelessness!!! 2 Likes |

EmekaBlue: Ok, may God help you. Covid is real, while some may have only mild symptoms and not seriously ill, some get really sick and die. Not believing in it's existence is merely playing the ostrich. |

Kinda feel that he is reading off a script. What he didn't mention is that the viral strain gets weaker with each mutation. So, I believe that in a way our weather will contribute to this weak strain |
