Yes, I have. I'm not proud of it because he was a great guy who took me more seriously than I took him. At the time, I had other plans for my life.

I did.

Was 10 years older, I felt she wasn't really ready for marriage. She loved me so much.

But I told her months before, she cried and blocked me on all media.

Now we are cool sha. We talk and chat. .she's even introduced her fiance to me.

Yes. I broke my ex’s heart.

I left when she wanted me to stay. I decided to separate even when she wanted Us to be together.

It’s one of the most difficult decisions of my life. I knew I was breaking her heart but I also knew I could never be happy. I don’t regret the decision at all but remembering how much it hurt her makes me feel I really betrayed her trust.

There are certain times and certain relations in life that just aren’t meant to be. She is a gem of person.

Feel free to share yours.
I would rather have my enemy dead than sentence him to a true heartbreak. In my case, I have been trying to get over her for more than a year now. I wished I was like the others that don't hurt as much.

Rilwayne001:
I practically enjoy inferring that I'm not really interested in a relationship whenever a girl try to force her way into my life. I tend to give em much attention at first, and we go cosy to the extent they feel they've found boyfriend. Until I get tired and withdraw myself. Often tend to appear like I broke their heart, but then, I did raise I caveat in the first place.

So no, I've never really.
This resonated with me , I really find it hard to like people, and most times they (ladies) tend to feel being nice means you like them.. but no I am just me, I just want to talk when I want to and talking to you at the moment makes me happy so I can go an extra mile for you at that moment, not that I have any special feelings for you.

Yes. I'm breaking my crush's heart now but it's not my fault. She have given me all the green lights in the whole world, but she didn't know that relationship/girlfriend is probably one of the leasts of my priorities for now. I pity her.

Thinking about it now, will I confidently say I broke her heart or she did not meet up to my expectation or maybe I should say we were not meant to be.
It all happened shortly I finished my NYSC and I returned to Ibadan at the behest of my mum who felt I should not stay back in Kano after NYSC. I returned to Ibadan and I was later invited for GLO interview. After series of interviews, I was shortlisted for the final interview with the Chairman of Globacom at Adeola Odeku but it turned out to be that I was the only one not employed by GLO. You can imagine how I felt at that time.
As a result of this, I was depressed with no friends and relative to console and keep me company( my mum has left for the east).
That was when Nkechi (not her real name) came into my life. She was very helpful, she was their for me and I loved her in return. We did virtually everything together. I assisted her in so many ways particularly in her academics, she passed her nursing school.
Since I could not secure job, I decided to apply for a master program at UI and i was given the admission, I decided to face my studies.
This affected my relationship with Nkechi greatly. Since I could no longer give her the attention I used to give her when I had not started the master program. Nkechi felt I had another woman on campus, I tried to explain to her about the drudgery of master program but all that fell on deaf ear.
Nkechi started fighting me, sometimes she will come to the school to embarrass me. There was a particular occasion she tore me shirt in Agbowo. There was another time she wanted to break my head with louvers. And there was another ocassion she wanted to stab me using kitchen knife.
As a result of all these, I decided to call it quit.
She was depressed but there was nothing I could do.
Permit me to say, she was a very good lady but apart from what I mentioned above. We have since departed but we still call each other. She is married with kids and I am also married.
That is why I am skeptical about saying I broke her heart.
