I don't know why it so difficult 4me to locate nss7 and i use this frequency for it (10986v30000) still there is no possibility, pls somebody should help same thing happen to me on eutelsat w6 when i am also trying to locate it.
Another problem is that if i want to change my polarization it said SAME TP EXIST so pls tell me what to do about that and i still have a question above that is remained unanswered. Thanks GOD bless us. Nairaland 4 life and nairaland fans.

Well if possible reset your decoder I hope yo know where to find it,if not press 1-Menu 2-go to System settings
press ok and go to Database Reset and press ok. When you finish try to track NSS7 at 22.0 W with the frequency you have
make sure your lnb is working properly and the edges of the coaxial cable to the lnb and that of your decoder are well fixed.

I am currently on mytv, do i need to change the direction of my dish to receive multitv and infinity? or do i need to get another dish for these channels. Please i really appreciate your replies.

If your default 0000 is not working then maybe it might have been changed or borrow a remote from someone and try it once again.
I am not sure you will like to move from mytv. So as you said get yourself a new decoder and a new dish if you still dream of multitv,there are a
lot you can enjoy if you do so.

If you have any news on NSS7, do share it with the house but you don't hold the house on ransom,28.2E is Astra 2ab (multitv) nevertheless
you should know that NSS7 is different from multitv and mytv. NSS7 is on the west side opposite direction to multitv with
this frenquency: NSS 7/ku 22.0W 10.986 V 30.000 .I hope it will help unless you have problem with how to mount and set dish settings related.

1- press menu. Go to installation. Then go to blind(auto) scan and press ok to start scanning for any available channel on that satellite whether new or old channels.
2- Go to www.lyngsat.com. Locate the satellite you are using. E.g intelsat 7/10 for the mytv. Then locate the channel you are looking for. Then copy the frequency and symbol rate of that channel eg 12.722 H 26.657 for presstv on intelsat 7/10. Then put on your decoder. Press menu. Go to installation. Then go to manual scan and input the frequency and symbol rate of the channel you have gotten in the spaces for them. Then press ok for the manual scan of the channel to start.
Others are PID scan, and channel data transfer from decoder to decoder etc.

Ussals:

4 u to get those jsc i e +5-10, u have to increase your signal strength by either tweaking your lnb or a little re-alignment of your dish such that u should be able to hit green CNN frequency, if that is achived then u will have your jsc's loud n clear

could u pls give me more detailed instructions? am in Lagos and i have a 4m dish and can only get good signal for jsc sports +1-4. am told that i can no longer get +5-10 is this tru? thx boss

it will automatically scan. No need to input frequency.

Pls gurus kindly give me more explanation on how to add channel to my decoder, i went to lyngsat and i locate intelsat7/10 i didn't understand it there is (vpid, opid and apid) but i didn't understand it.

@guzman45, u need 90cm dish to nail w3a. Read the thread on w3a for details on how to track

@astanco, u might have tampered with ur box somehow but not to worry just do a factory reset of ur box and u will b fyn.

k. Try out the following, 1. Delete all the tps on the sat list. Exit and re-enter infinity tp if still red,
2. Check ur coaxial cable for any leakage if possible change it. Happened to me sometime. Cheers!

u nid a diesc switch for those 2 sat 2 work 2gather.

I hv the switch and have been using the two dishes b4 . It strtd wen I did d reset . Plz help me wit wot 2 do wit d settings

OK i now see. U r using a diseqc switch. Remember the ports for the two satellite. Press menu on ur remote, >>ok>>enter pin 0000>> dish setting>> chose the satellite, (say astra2abd) scroll down to diseqc 1.0 and assign d port of d sat on ur diseqc. Exit and do the same for w4.
