Comeandcollect:
Good day everyone, I would like to know if it is wise to invest in EuroBonds now, I have 10k USD I am not using, it's just idle in my account.

Or I should rather sell to black market.

Thanks

I was in this dilemma recently.

What did I do.

I converted all the dollars ( $1 = 458)

I intend to convert it back to dollars by the end of September when CBN starts selling to BDC at $1=400-420.

You can make a gain of 400, 000 naira in 2 months with this simple strategy.

Check via your banking app. Sometimes the transaction alert gets delayed even though said transaction has occurred.
Seem common to FBN, I don't know why.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by naijaoyibo: 11:00pm On Jul 02, 2020
what if the dollar doesn't get back to 420. What if we get to a new high of 500 or more? It got to 520 Naira/$ in 2017 and can get there again. At the end of the day, no one can predict these things with 100% certainty. Best bet would be to change some and leave some to mitigate risks. Nigeria's currency policy is more of politics than sound economics.

Well said.

In 2015, it peaked at N520 and later converged to N360.

Of course, anything can happen.

But I think it's a safe bet.

Time will tell anyway

Stanbic wakes u up with the intrest 1st but they won't send alert just check ur mobile app balance .

In another news , So it has gotten to the extent that ordinary savings pays more intrest than treasury bills. Eegungun has finally entered express.

I suggest you try hard and get a job after graduating.

It's a bad idea to jump right into business after school.

Getting a stable job with a stable salary after school remains the best way to build capital everywhere in the world.

Having a job in a well structured organization will help you understand how corporate structure works. So that even if you want to start your own business later, you already have a lot of experience to leverage.

Also, you can use your experience to find another job if your business fails.

You may be better off using ACE transfer ,you know. It gives me more bang for my buck, literally. Download the app and compare the rates if you like. I have since deleted transferwise.

Don't you feel Practical Agric is just like a skill being acquired

I've done a pilot project... I won't say it came out the best... But on a scale of 0-100....I would say 80 because I was still able to meet up with the Harvest target

I have also been undergoing some intense practical classes

Depending on your state of residence, you can still combine your agriculture with a a job.

Agric requires full presence most especially perishables

Most people who took it as a side hustle ended up clearing everything out

I'm fully prepared for that cheesy cheesy

I have a friend who works in an international agency here in Nigeria, earning close to 1M monthly. He also has a farm that he is running successfully.

Have you seen his books?
Having a farm doesn't mean it is profitable or succesful.
How do you know his farming is successful? undecided
It is very difficult to run a profitable farm and combine it with a day job.

He is a chartered accountant and if after 7 years of running a farm and it's not profitable, he would have abandoned it. He told me is making profits. I can't be asking him to prove it

Well. That's good.

Hope you have good backup plan. I mean something to fall back on? Maybe, rich family that can support financially in the event of loss.

Some of us are on our own, that's why we are often extremely careful.
