It depends on the church you attend. If you don't like the way the pastor treats you or the church members then move to another church, the pastor is not the God you are serving.
And when you work in the house of God you are not doing it to receive praises or gifts from man( your pastor) but from God. Your pastor shouldn't bother you that much, God sees your heart and he will bless you. That's all that matters.
In my church, the pastor doesn't insult us instead he carefully corrects us.
I've not really been in the situation of worn out shoes or anything like that but I'm sure that there's nothing you would ask of my pastor that he won't look for a way to provide if its something he can do. The last time my pastor equipped a lot of people that were not doing anything in my church, he gave them money to enable them start a business.
My pastor won't do anything that would make you lose your job. He is even the one that let's us know if there's any job opportunity cos He has a list of the names of the youth and their occupation.
Actually sir, you are the one that needs to open your eyes and accept Christ before its too late.

Deception is when you are working in a church, for a pastor and telling yourself that you are working for God. As far as I know, God Almighty, the creator of Jehovah, Allah, etc do not ask anybody to work for it. God Almighty is the TOTALITY OF EXISTENCE, therefore how can anyone be fooled into thinking that he is working for the TOTALITY OF EXISTENCE when in the actual fact, he is working for a co-subset of existence like himself? It's a pity and a shame that people are still being deceived by the names of imprisoned gods like Jehovah, Allah and the rest of them. Let's see where it ends anyway.
