According to you , you looked down on yourself when People began to say this or that about you..

As long as you wanna do things based on what people will say, you are gonna keep having a problem..

You need to get out from what people think about you, and live according to what God Almighty says about you.

He says you are created in His Image and likeness..

He Says you are wonderfully and Beautifully made..

He says, you can do all things through HIM..

Stop living according to what people say or what people will say!

well my advice is that, in terms of low self esteem, a good thing to do is to play to your strenghts and accept ur weakness, look 4 what u can do passionately and develop a sense of pride and confidence in it

It's funny how you think you have it bad. Your life is like butter and the world is like rough stones, and yet you already feel so much pressure... From what exactly??

Your mother even OPENED UP TO YOU TO TELL YOU SHE ISN'T HAPPY WITH YOU.
My mother was so careless with words while growing, she busted out in countless episodes of raging bitterness, hurling terrible words still, we managed with little effort. It wasn't a BIG issue.

Ultimately, you need the Holy Spirit to restructure your mind and thinking process.

A whole lot more will come against you and you must fight to the finish so brace up, and quit this self esteem issues of yours.

I can correctly say you an introvert, and being an introvert is not a disease
You’re a version of yourself and no one can be you likewise you can’t be someone else
Try as much as possible to always display your version for yourself in all you do and not for anyone

get involved with a good social group like rotaract. be active, take elective position if possible. Mingle more with people, talk more, hang around with good friends that you're very comfortable with and you tend to talk more when you're with them. gradually, you will change.

I use to be very quiet (though not low self esteem), some people said I'm snubbish, others said I'm proud. Now....

I wouldn't describe my self as the complete reticent type.....because I talk with few friends and course mates at sch. I just don't go out or have friends at home....If I'm not indoor, then I'm at my mum's shop.
