I applied for general studies, I only got the first mail and am yet to receive the CBT link

it depends... If they have screened hour credentials and you are okay they will send you another link for the CBT

I got the cbt invite before the mail from eskat

before you write the test you must register and then during registration you will be given your OTP. You can only register if you have been sent the test link to your mail.
