Stanbic has its own Guaranteed income fund

Please what is the name so that i can check it out and compare.

I guess the SGIF is "Stanbic IBTC Guaranteed Investment Fund". There is still a difference because it does not have a guaranteed rate unlike VGIF that has a guaranteed rate of SDF.

All na the same. To know what it entails, try them or look for who has done both to explain to you. Though for StanbicIBTC GIF what is written there is that your capital is guaranteed.

This is in bad taste.

That means you never had a friend all through. Or don't know how to make quality friendship.

Who said it must even be at a bar? Some valuable friends, real friends may never get to your level that doesn't make them envious or useless.

Some of us have kept friends from our 1st year at school till date. Stop thinking everyone wants a piece of you because of your wealth.

And d bar isn't where to make quality friendship.

@bolded = off point. My post is deep and only the .......... ones can understand. How and when do you certify a person to be yours truly? There's something you don't know about that someone you believe you know so much. Not only money spurs jealousy, I was with a matured friend gisting, then he said, anytime there is a baby dedication in my church and I heard them shouting bouncing baby boy, I get upset and leave the auditorium. I need not ask him why but reason is ,he's got only girls and hating on those with.....I have both sex and sometimes says the words like: my boys in his presence.. Most people hate what they don't have.

Being poor doesn't necessarily turn one to hater but your mindset does. I won't advise anyone to quit a long time blossom friendship because of financial discrepancy but if your friend exhibit friendenemy symptoms, don't be too naive to say he's my childhood pals, human mind is too deep.

I have some of this info. But I want to clear the air, my major post is not to seek for funds to trade. It's a backup fund I need. But if you want to deal with me, I have a way I do my biz, I will share with you through any electronic means of your choice, if you are okay with it, then we can deal.

I think you have a good idea and you understand what you want to do.
Getting funds from people on this forum will be difficult.

I will advise that you keep going at your own speed by doing it yourself with your own money.
Don't be discouraged, with time it will get bigger.

Am not raising money in itself, it's a lien fund I need to serve as a backup that I can run to immediately if something goes wrong in the course of doing business with investors funds, so that their capital can be refunded while we await the insurance company to pay for the loss into that same account. Insurance stuff do take 1-3months depends and within those period investors go don dey para. If I refund them I can still go and raise money from them and continue my trade. it's all in a bit not to break the circle of trust.

It will be difficult to give a specific number of trips that can be done yearly considering the fact that Commodities trading is a seasonal business. But for the sake of this post I will use Soyabeans to give a minimum possible number of trips per year.

season commenced in November and ends in March but I exit in February.

if we do one truck per week from Procurement to delivery and payment

Minimum possible monthly will be 4 to be on a reserve side I will like to use 3.

if we trade for four months I. e Nov-Feb we will do 3x4 which is 12 circles using a specific capital of let's say 4m

Different kinds of individual both genuine business poeple and scammers now see this thread as either a bank to loan from or gathering for people with money to be scammed.

They used to be someone called angelstartup in business and investment section nairaland. She also has a website bearing same name. What she does is to hook owners of investment ideas or business with potential investors. That's where some of these things should go.

Not to target people on tb thread to hoodwink them with investment ideas that may not be viable or ideas borne with the intent of defrauding people.

Now I see why the ogas here are doubting you.
You previously said you have been doing business for 4years, I believe you should have records but when a question was asked, your response (bolded) above sounds as though you are speculating. In as much as business may not be the same year in year out, records and statistics are kept for a reason.

I appreciate the concerns you raised. If you doubt anything I stated there you can cross check from any seasoned Agro Commodities trader. I choose those words so as to be reserved as much as I can.

The projections I gave above is a reserved one, we can do more. I believe it's better to under promise and over deliver.

It's simple. Buy when naira is stable and sell when it's unstable. And then convert it back when it's stable.

No one know can really predict this. If you buy Naira when it's stable, do you just keep it in your account or invest?
Since you have to invest it, you might not be liquid when instability arises.
Even if instability is right in the horizon, you cannot predict what CBN will do. They might just start expending the reserves.

I had so many friends, after school I was jobless for about 6 years and one of my friend was in the UK and was always checking on me. when he came back to naija, he visited my village at every opportunity bit today he is a promising civil servant and my best pally, no amount of money can come in between us. I have several real friends like that and I wouldn't allow my affluence keep me away from them. same way we want to liaise with dudes above us, let's give those below us room to tap from us. its very wrong to always cut people out of your life because of finances. those that cut me off when I was jobless can't fit in again though still soft friends. I do not joke with my former friends, I rather not make new ones, new ones are only business partners and not friends. my friendzone should be filled already.

But will you be naive enough to share with your civil servant friend your race to hit 1 billion naira as you freely share and remind us here or the multimillion bond you are planning to buy? Close your eyes as if you are dead, then imagine how many people will shed real tears. If only people leave a EAR behind after saying goodbye to a friend or family then you will realise who is who to you. Bro love everyone but trust no one, kapish !

I stated I took permission from him before commencing Tbills. I update him the progress. we meet almost everyday am in town. man know thyself, I believe I know myself. he is a human but a better version. always read people and know when they are changing. I am a social engineer by style, I combine engineering laws to social. you should always know when someone is changing or doesn't care about you. as a chemical engr, I react to people and situations. I don't even trust myself as I can respond in a way I will be shocked later, it all depends on what am seeing ahead. shadow effect keeps people in check, learn it.

We are wired differently, there are people who can simply understand others by their facial expression, body language, words e.t.c. This group can understand their friends easily and know when to call it a quit. If you dont fall in this group it is always better to listen to your mind and know when to keep a distance. The bottom line is never to keep an envy and jealous friend as this may lead to a big loss, big problem or even death. This is from a personal experience.

A jealous friend which you are better off may try to borrow money from you, in his mind he have concluded not to pay you back even before borrowing the money. If the amount is big they may try to eliminate you so that nobody will ever ask them of the money. Never borrow huge sum to whosoever as this may put your life in great danger.

Feeling inadequate because he doesn't have a boy? But why are people like this? What of those who don't have even a child? Well I guess he would have preferred to be childless. People are soooo ungrateful. People pay millions and go through pains to get a child. If you so need a boy badly why not adopt. Well such a person will still feel inadequate sha.
