It will be worse for them if they go ultra defensive. Pogba created space for Martial to score his last goal by pulling about 2 defenders with him into their box. He seems to be doing that a lot this season. That was how he assisted Bruno’s goal the other day.

However, CBs must also be able to defend well. Else we’ll concede whenever the opponent gets to our box.

Since the restart we’ve played about 2 relegation threatened teams and we’ve come out on top. A. Villa will be tricky because we are away from home but that shouldn’t matter in the end.

Just checked. We play next on Monday. So’ton. Then Thursday we are away at Crystal Palace. Then Chelsea the next Sunday.

Our front 3 need to exploit the spaces around their full backs. They have conceded frequently cos they leave lots of spaces there.
