Crystal Palace will most likely get a draw today and I expect Arsenal to continue their fine form against Leicester...On Thursday, we will take our place amongst the Saints...

It will be worse for them if they go ultra defensive. Pogba created space for Martial to score his last goal by pulling about 2 defenders with him into their box. He seems to be doing that a lot this season. That was how he assisted Bruno’s goal the other day.

If Rashford and Martial understand this concept we’ll be deadlier.

There’s no reason why they shouldn’t understand that... Na basic footballing

Let’s just hope they both show up on Thursday because those two are notoriously inconsistent

I believe that because they play at an empty stadium, Home or Away do not actually matter anymore.
Size of stadium matters though.. it's much easier to play matches at old Trafford than smaller stadiums like that of Bournemouth.

I think it still matters, but not as much as it would I f fans were present. Their home is more familiar and they will be more comfortable.

Sometimes basic footballing is herculean to these lads. Can’t you see how Rashford was misplacing simple passes in the last game?

Old Trafford and Vitality stadium actually have the same/close to the same pitch size. grin

Morning fellas....Nathan Ake and Tiago Alcantara are the two latest names the rumour mill are linking us with at the moment, the former as result of the little chat OGS had with him after our last game while the later who is 29yrs has been consistently linked with us over the years and nearly signed for us had Moyes sanctioned it. Can the two improve our squad? Sign or pass?

This point does not really matter anymore, a high proportion of premier league stadium pitches are of the size and most use the same surface tech called Desso Grassmaster which is a combo of artificial and natural grass.

This is a major reason why there have been an increased amount of away wins in football since football resumed with no spectators.

Unless my eyes have been deceiving me over these years cos Vitality stadium looks small on the eyes.

I'm particular about tonight matches. Anything can happen. I only want us to cement that top 4 within two matches.

Taking it till the last day won't make sense o.

I doubt Palace ability in tonight’s match, but hope they can grind out at least a draw with Chelsea.

I expect Arsenal to beat Leicester or get at least a draw.. except Luiz decides to, you know, become Luiz.

It looks small because them cameras are close to the pitch. Vitality stadium's pitch is actually bigger than that of Stamford bridge.

They aren’t the same size. There is a standard range from big pitches like the 2 Manchester clubs to tiny ones like you would find with Crystal Palace and even pretenders like Chelshit.

Ake would make a good squad player. Significant upgrade on Phil Jones, Rojo and more proven than Tuanzebe.

We should get him if we are selling three defenders this summer (Rojo, Smalling, Jones)... We should still go for him even if they stay, and at 20mill, that’s great business.

No point going for Thiago, what we need is a DM.

Rashford has been poor since the restart of the league, but he’d been away even before the league went on break. And I guess Ole plans to play him back into form

I quite like Ake too. Tiago on the other hand is related to Phil Jones.

Elampiro what do you think about this analysis now https://www.goal.com/en/news/man-utd-rashford-martial-greenwood-bettering-salah-mane/vvaidaip0swt1iiz6u8mdfz7j

It is a good analysis but we now have a superb attacking force compared to months back. However, Salah and Mane are still better than our players currently. Greenwood might leapfrog them soon if he keeps performing. As Lampard noted, it is risky to over praise a young English player too early. So we pray Greenwood keeps shooting with his left and right like Ronaldo.

Narrowing down the analysis, Rashford has scored 6 penalties.

Gary Neville thinks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should try and turn Man Utd midfielder Scott McTominay into a centre-back.
“I just watch McTominay play and I think of all that competition in midfield and I wonder whether he could be used as a centre-back. He’s got the aggression and he’s got the speed. His understanding of the game is pretty good and he’s still young.”

Maybe this was one of the reasons GNev's managerial stint was a disaster.

In Leyqute Voice: we don't need a Pensioner abegi - that's for Thiago. I've never got impressed by Ake or na Matchet. I'll rather give Mengi a chance to prove himself, or wait on Tuanzebe to fully recover.

if this guy can at least stay fit, then Ake won't be discussed. Maybe Phil Jones has hexed him.
