Good day to u all

Please I want to find out a few things about UAE.

1. Can I rent an apartment while am on 3 months tourist visa?

2. Can I send things down to Nigeria without having a license?
I heard license is needed to send things out of the UAE.
How true I this? @Justi4jesu am quoting you on this since you are into logistics.....but others can contribute as well.

It's just my opinion. A Dubai Return ticket presently is about N477,000. It would be wise to postpone travel till later.
which airline and class is that bro ?

Are you in people's pockets?

This has always been d advice since I started following this thread late 2018!

"There are no jobs in Dubai."
"Start something small in Nigeria."
"It is hard in Dubai."
"UAE is not for Nigerians."
"Try European countries instead."

Permit me to ask, which country welcomes Nigerians with open arms? I guess none. So why always stating d obvious?

I wont say much sha.. Since people like u don't hear advice. Dem no dey tell monkey make e no go market now

Oga like you said his opinion, lay your own opinion without countering someone else's.

You don't need a soothsayer to tell you, now is not a good time to travel.
It's expensive and tedious process.
Unless your trip is important, it's best to sit you ass at home and monitor things firstly

Remind me when it was not expensive and tedious.

like I always say, once u make up ur mind to step out of the shores of Nigeria, E NO GO EASY. Even those that went for studies still face racism as d case may be.

Dude UAE visa is as easy as ABC... We are on the UAE thread, so stick to UAE discussions and don't try to derail.
Before the outbreak, a return to ticket to Dubai cost as low as 160,000...have you seen the rates lately?
Have you seen the documentation required?

The point still remains now is not a good time to travel for greener pastures overseas unless otherwise.

Not just Dubai but the world in general.
It isn't going to be business as usual for the next 12months.
This pandemic created a huge setback to everything.

A Quick Question: Please, has the UAE resumed the issuance of tourist visa?

Thanks in anticipation.

It's quite expensive, but you'll need an Emirates ID anyway. All two questions can be done by proxy. That is by using or partnering with someone who is eligible.

1. Based on my personal experience years back, you can rent an apartment on short term basis, monthly. I did it through a letting agency. Gave security deposit and paid rent monthly. There was no ejari/tenancy contract issued. I can't answer number 2 as I have no experience in this one.

Yes they have started but not to country like naija that has not opened its Airports for international travel. From a reliable source it should be from 18th July.

You mean issuance of visas to Nigerian passport holders will not start until 18th July or that Nigerian airspace will be open to international flights on the 18th July? What about a Nigerian passport holder presently in a different country and wants to travel to Dubai from his present location?

Sorry for my many questions.

Thanks.

Issuance of visa to Nigerian passport holders will start by July 18th ,that's what I'm saying. Meanwhile issuance of visas to tourists starts today. One of the major reason cited for not start issuing visa to countries such as Nigeria is the fact that we have not opened our Airspace for international travel yet.

This is true, Etihad Airways sent me an email earlier today. I'm flying Etihad, and they have accepted to handle the visa application process for me. Thanks for offering to help with the process.
