This is clearly a communication gap between the UK visa office in Nigeria and the Nigeria Immigration service. It could also be that the Nigerian doctors have been scammed. 2 Likes |

Sadly, these doctors would end up treating our greedy and corrupt politicians who have run our hospitals aground by the time they get to the UK and start practising. These ones don go already. All they're awaiting is the next action. The government should just keep the remaining ones from following suit by paying them well with better welfare package. That yeye 5k per doctor as insurance no be am. 1 Like |

This indicates the premium given to health by a serious country. Nigeria will prefer to pay touts and even send some of them to Parliament to earn big salaries while those who run our health systems wallow in poverty. They should allow them to go, they also need to secure a good future for their families, it is not only politicians that knows how the secure their future generations. Why should they stay when the country does not value their services? I am sure they do not block them because of their services to an ordinary citizen, it is simply because the airspace is currently closed for medical tourism, it is because of their selfish health security given that they can't run abroad for every headache as it used to be pre-Covid-19 era. 3 Likes |

Lol does a company or firm have the right to grant visa waiver. Doctors contact NHS or Home Office if you want to run out of the country. Idyllic: 3 Likes |

I suspect scam. UK NES has no right to grant visa waiver. It can only be facilitated by NHS and approved by the Home Office. dozymars: 7 Likes |

They didn't settle the immigration officers. If you don't drop something for them they'll look for a way to frustrate your departure. Speaking from experience and I've got proof. 1 Like |

Freestainworld:I'm supporting FG on this move. Did you forget that those MD's Took oath to save lives. Why would they think of leaving in no other time than this covid-19 pandemic? we already have a few doctors available for our enormous population? Id delist them from NMA list if I was president. They're so selfish! 4 Likes |
