Have owned that W204 for 4+ years now.
Apart from suspension parts,only significant thing I changed is rear differential for a cheap 25k.
Others na wear and tear items.
I wonder how ppl erroneously think that car is expensive to maintain.

That is one Benz I love the design another one I love the design is R class... But that B class is more of an European assembled Benz and just few of them in Nigeria... But it is a great design, you know that most of us not all , but most of us buy from USA ... I will ask my mechanic about that car...

But I like the design... I like hatchbacks......

It's a small engine Benz and 4 plugs...so as of the economy it will be great but don't expect speed of the V6....

I see it as more of a city car....than touring car! But in my own humble opinion...I juy love the design, as of the parts,I can't say for sure...

Hello all. Please I have a very serious issue with my w211 Mercedes. Imagine you are coasting with your ride and all of a sudden you are greeted with the brake defective stop vehicle sign on instrument cluster. That is the problem I'm having with my car and when this message show u have no brakes at all. Have replaced sbc twice and in less than a week it's back to square one.when u switch off the car and on it u have brakes again and in less than a minute drive the brakes are gone. Pls I'm in Benin. Can anyone recommend a good Benz mechanic to fix this issue? Guys pls help out. Na brake be car o. When the brakes work it's so flawless buy when the crase start you will get so tired. Pls advise according.

I think you got a bad SBC to replace the faulty one in your vehicle.
SBC modules will fail with time....nothing can stop this from happening.
It's never a good practice to replace SBC module with a used one.
Also, check break light switch.
Ask people around that drives the same vehicle as yours for a good mechanic in Benin.
Please oo, your vehicle is: Break by wire: don't let any body without experience to touch it or be prepared to get another car.

Thanks so much for the input. Does it mean it's same sbc that is faulty? The brake light switch is in perfect condition because it was tested. Can I replace the pressure accumulator only cos I really do not know if it's d full sbc that is bad. Why does it reset itself wen you switch off ignition and switch back on again. Yea I know it's drive by wire and the brakes are so complicated. Fun to drive when working though. Do u have any contact in beniny pls?

Thanks sir. Yea I know it was programmed for 300000 brake press after that it goes hay wire but mine was fixed under warranty while the owner was still using it in d USA. Will ask around for those who drive my kind of car. Been kinda asking sef. Thanks once more.

There is, mine isn't. It doesn't carry the 4matic badge

I tried starting a 5months parked c300 4matic but the battery was down so I tried another battery and it kept on running down what Could be the issue pls?

Check the alternator. Rodents may have done some damages to it while it was parked.

This best explains why the new battery (and every battery you will put) keeps discharging.
