Hello Guys, please I have a question. For Couples in this process, is it a problem if your spouse has a financial obligation(loan) he's settling while running his business? Will this in anyway affect chances of getting PR? Is there anywhere during the application that you'll be asked to declare any financial obligation of your spouse? Thanks |

MamaHeaven: Ideally, it's only the PA that is obligated to submit account statements and payslips. They usually don't ask for account statement(s) from your spouse except he/she transferred funds to you that is declared as part of your POF... You may wanna show the flow from where the funds came from, thereby including his/her statements and LOE Though people go ahead to include statement from their spouse but I understand it's not mandatory. For the loan part as a determining factor, I'd leave that to the very experienced peeps in the house to respond. Perhaps, if they have heard a similar case |

OND(Direct Entry) + BSC/HND is evaluated as two or more certificates because BSc is about three years and the OND, 2 year diploma. I recently did my ECA from WES, I evaluated ND + HND + MBA. They gave me: ND ( 2 year diploma) HND (3 year diploma and 1 year Postgraduate certificate) MBA ( Master's Degree) I got my report July 10 mobenjackson: |

MamaHeaven: By financial obligation, do you mean indebtedness or a project? If the former is the case, it has to be declared. If it is the latter, however, I do not see the need. IRCC stipulates that your settlement funds among other things must be unencumbered by debt and be readily available both at the time you apply, while your application is being processed and when you are landing in Canada. |

ShowYoung: Did you evaluate OND + B.Sc (D.E) if you didn't, pls don't make hasty conclusions, in order not to mislead people... For your info, i also evaluated ND + HND and it turned out same way yours was reported... bring a recent OND + B.Sc (D.E) evaluation report to back up your claim. 2 Likes |

I don't know if this has changed in recent times as I have no business with 2 or more certificates and as such haven't been keeping up with recent changes, but it actually used to be the norm before. Same as Diploma earned before crossing into 200L. E.g. Unilag Diploma Exmay02: 1 Like 1 Share |

Dennyjuff:you will include bank statement to show inflow of gift deed and outflow to mutual funds. These people love to see trails and transactions history. Many Nigerians have played a fast one on them. Some scaled through some were caught. So declare everything that will not make the visa officer begin to have doubts. 1 Like 1 Share |
