Hello Guys, please I have a question. For Couples in this process, is it a problem if your spouse has a financial obligation(loan) he's settling while running his business? Will this in anyway affect chances of getting PR? Is there anywhere during the application that you'll be asked to declare any financial obligation of your spouse? Thanks

Hi,
If the spouse is not the PA, you don't need to declare his/her financial obligation I think.
As clearly stated on their website only the principal applicant need to supply proof of funds. You dont plan to use his business account for the PoF I imagine. If the PoF was a gift, then get the requisite gift deed as credence.
Only PA need to go to bank and get a reference letter in IRCC format. Don't complicate ur application, if a spouse(Not PA) has a loan to settle, he should settle it before u get PR visa with non-PoF money as u may be asked to show the said PoF at the port of entry.

you will include bank statement to show inflow of gift deed and outflow to mutual funds. These people love to see trails and transactions history. Many Nigerians have played a fast one on them. Some scaled through some were caught. So declare everything that will not make the visa officer begin to have doubts.

To be precise, my IELTS expires by end of August which I maxed out, and my birthday is just about the same time (-5 points dancing around the corner).
However, If I were to get ITA with the next draw (CRS 476) and my AOR were to fall after my birthday and the expiry of my IELTS, would that constitute a problem with my application?

After you receive ITA, Age Factor becomes inconsequential..With a Score of 476, you should get ITA before August when your IELTS Expires..You are doing well

You must get AOR before your IELTS expires, you can't submit application with expired IELTS..

No issues with age reduction after ITA.
