Real were creating chances but their attackers were not getting on the scoresheet. It got to a point the defenders and the midfielders were the ones chipping in the goals. In the biggest games, it was their defense that came to their rescue. Casemiro was MOTM in games against Sevilla, Atletico and Barca. Ramos was making last-ditch tackles and clearing balls off the line at one end and scoring headers and pks at the other end. Courtois was preventing wins from turning into draws.
