gbayi .. I dey feel you my brother.
Did arsenal even counter? I think the plan was to massively defend after losing the ball then a patient build up after winning the ball back. The first goal I think, was the perfect example.
Lol.

And still Willock is clueless a contributor. Wembley loves Arsenal. 21 times!!

At the end, it was not to be the better side but the lucky side.

Congrats to them, they won the game. Now on the way forward, you dont want Arsenal or Arteta building a career based on that. They need to be a formidable side that can go toe-to-toe with top sides in play.

I will praise Arteta when he can get Arsenal to do that instead of parking bus.
He'll start doing that when he has 1 billion pounds to buy players

Thank you Lord, I knew Man utd would win a trophy this season... This would mark the beginning of our dominance to come.

After I dismantle chealsea, trust me to devour Arsenal and get top 4...

By 2022, we should be the Top team in the league and champe, based on the law say "you can't be no1 forever" teams like Liverpool and city should be tired, Barca go don cast, who else? Chealsea go just dey try, but first let me beat them today so the movement can kickoff...

Stay tuned... GGMU...

Today, Napoli removed Fernando Llorente from their Serie A squad, effectively making the number 9 jersey vacant.

Yesterday,
@omaakatugba
reports that Victor Osimhen has passed his Napoli medical.

Interesting set of circumstances. Could this be it?

Knew Arteta managerial career very promising with the way he reacted to David LUiz's howler against City. Many managers would have let Luiz go, but be handed a new contract. After Luiz signed, 4 other players were inspired and signed extensions. It was as if the coach was telling them, "Just like Luiz, even though you have a bad day, I'll stand by you."

John Terry once said the reason why Carlo Ancelotti is successful is because of excellent man-management.

"He adapted very quickly and when speaking to me, Frank [Lampard], Didier [Drogba], he wanted to pick our brains: 'is this too much tactics for the players to do? Are we doing too much of this?'
"As players naturally, when things go wrong, it's the manager, it's never our fault.
I've never had a manager in all my career that actually asks the players and gives them a bit of responsibility.."

Man-management comes first, then tactical nous.

You are an arsenal fan right ?

Una go still yab Arteta when una begin loose next season ooo

Tactically, Pep was outclassed. You need to come to realization that man city tactic nowadays is like a one way traffic;it is difficult to pinpoint its loophole but once found out,it might be disastrous.Arteta knew it'll be foolish to go toe to toe against a superior man city so he set up his team to neutralize city's threats while the potency of the attacking third is sustained. And that was what brought up the stat you posted above. What became of city with all their possession and shots? Bro,accept it...Pep was outclassed. Even his sub couldn't reduce the deficit.

Is this arsenal biggest achievement ?

Dem Dey outclass pep most times nah everyday no be Xmas ,even Chelsea also won mancity

Make una cool down with una noise ,you will surely continue your tears next season ,one guy is already saying arsenal is a team in progress cheesy

Llorent is going next season so what’s the meaning that he has been removed from their squad immediately ?

The number 9 will always be available next season ,victor cannot play for Napoli this season

All this oma akatugba and lies about Napoli removing llorente from seria A squad when there are still games to go

Seriously, tbh, we're not interested in all these you're saying. And frankly, it's seeming like a lame excuse.

Everyone here knows Arteta is not going to build Arsenal on park the bus tactic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the winner of FA Cup gets Europa League spot, yes? And at the moment, Arsenal can't make Europa League spot from league standing.

Essentially, the only hope is to win the FA Cup. Now, this is a man, Arteta, that is, accepting Pep and City are better than him, and chose a strategy to win. The win is much more important to Arsenal than it is to City, not if they don't want to miss Europe.

I don't have problems with teams parking the bus every once in a while. It's only nauseating when it's become a way of life.

Arteta did what he had to do, parking the bus is a necessity for every team. It's just a matter of when you want to park it.

The way you're insistent is as though Arteta wants to build his team based on bus parking.

Make una correct me again, this is the first game Arteta has parked the bus since his appointment, no? So, why is Joe analysing, upon analysing, as though Arteta has already made an habit of parking the bus?

Arteta wants to play in Europe, anyway possible. Pep just want to add to his laurels..
There's difference between that.

Arteta did what he had to do. Pep with all his superior team and tactical acumen, couldn't counter Arteta's "strategy" as you succinctly put it.

There's no need for whining or grining. Most of us aren't interested. We're rather just glad Arteta got results with his "strategy" against his master

What is the relevance of Fred Onyedinma to this discussion.

Nobody has given him any accolades and or called him an SE prospect in recent times. But you are trying to it seems cast aspersions. But why ❓ Because of what.

Nobody us using past youth glories of 5 years ago to say he is a potential this or that.

What's your point

Memphis Depay as you know flopped at Manchester United.

Well Do you really want to talk about Falcao there is nothing to report, it was shambolic for him his time in the EPL.

But Depay has gone to French league one and essentially ripped it.

Playing an open game vs a team more superior is like shooting yourself in the leg
Arteta did what needed to be done and he go his victory so I see no reason why we should criticize his tactics

Falcao time at united and Chelsea was after he was back for a horrible injury ,Monaco had to loan him out

Dishonorable indeed..
You just don't want to admit that Osimhen transfer news gives you pain grin ..
After all the efforts you put into rubbishing him when he was still starting out as a pro,he has disappointed you massively grin

There is nothing going on with Osimhen transfer that hasn't happened in the history of football transfers before!
Players are linked with multiple clubs all the time..
Before Willian joined Chelsea,he already held talks with Liverpool and agreed terms, then he did medicals at Spurs before signing for Chelsea..
These things happen all the time.

And Osimhen hasn't backtracked on his words yet... His agent is the one trying to make more money from Napoli, and that too isn't nothing new..

Your clutching at straws very desperately to prove false assumptions and a false narrative you have created by yourself.

My constructive criticism is very clear and my past posts and he took my advice and the results are his current ascendency.

Maybe it's PAINFUL TO YOU HOW RIGHT I WAS.

You will just have to live with it.

You are free to like what you want.

I am a fantastic of the possessive game. We played brilliantly today. The reason Arsenal had shots on target is because it is a counter to an open defence.

At the end it was a patked bus win. You are free to like it but it is not a fruitful long term philosophy proven over time. I hope that is how you want Arsenal to play all games.

Arsenal did this for like a generation..played good football...had possession..passed the ball to death in the 18 yard box..very tactical display and dominance but goals zippo...trophy zippo...I enjoyed it...but you cant slate them if they are not doing all the sexy football and concentrating on winning now
